Recently traded my 2011 ram CC Sport for my 2014 2dr wrangler Sport, first ever jeep. Bought it three weeks ago, and already dumping money into it! Hope you enjoy! :)

This is when I first brought her home. So cute and adorable ha.

During the second week I creeped over the forums looking for easy cheap ideas. Sooo, bought the black locable gas cap, Stubby Antenna X, tinted the taillights from that NightShade stuff, windshield light mount brackets with LED lights...

Third week, trouble begins... Girlfriend LOVES jeeps, and wouldn't stop bugging me about lifting it and big tires, all with my money of course!

So this lovely 3" BDS suspension appeared at my door, upgraded to Fox shocks. A buddy at work helped me install it over two days after work. He's got a original 71 AAR Cuda in his garage. :censored: Traded his 69 charger R/T for it back in 72.

So yesterday ( 3rd weekend ) got the tires wheels put on! 17" Pro Comp rims, and Cooper AT's 35's. Pictures don't give it justice! Looks way bigger and meaner in person. Tires look way better! I was going to get the aggressive ones but sinces it's my pavement princess I opted for the AT's. Although I kind of regret not getting the others, the manager talked me out of it last minute! :/

I HIGHLY recommend BDS suspension! Their customer service was top notch! Added them on facebook and their replied were quick! Since I was too lazy to call mostly. Their lift added with the tires makes this thing ride and handle 100% better than stock! It grips the road and no body roll!

It is the crappy 3.32 gear ratio but surprised the loss of power was pretty minimal. To get going I have to give it slightly more gas but not a lot, and going 75mph is still in 6th unless theirs hills, then just 5th. Not a big deal to me. Hope you lot enjoyed it! And more mods to come!

Thanks! Hey now, running low on funds. I wasn't about to put a 35s on the stock holder on the tailgate. Which means I have to buy the $900 back bumper and swing gate. So $1500 for looks. I don't have a money tree :p

Thanks! Gratz on your order, I bet the wait is killing you! I remember to check out BDS for lifts ;)
Everytime I look at my jeep I love it even more. That Amp'd is an amazing color! And I have yet to see another on the road!

Picked her up yesterday!!! Beautiful color I have to say. Also very glad I ordered when I did because they discontinued it for 2015. We now have a single year color!!

Got the AEV hood in paint, AEV black pintlers are in, and 285/70R/17 Duratracs should be in tomorrow. No lift as of now, gonna ride this way for a bit.

Very nice jeep! Yeah I think we did good with our color! And being a 1 year color we lucked out! Looks good how it sits now, doesn't need the lift and tires right away because it doesn't have baby tires like mine had ha. I made a custom tramp stamp with license plate holder and s spot for a CB antenna on it, will post pics when I'm around a comp :)

Thanks everyone! I fabbed up a custom tramp stamp / license plate holder and a built in mount for my CB Antenna. Looks good but currently making a cleaner one. I'll post pics soon. Next on my list is a 50" lightbar above the windshield I'm thinkin :)

Awesome looking jeeps Eman and Bird. Thanks for the compliments Bird. The mods have slowed down a little but still coming. Feels like a new toy after evrry simple mod. Just soak up the fun modding and make it last. I'd get bored if it was % 100 done!

Ahhh give me your guy's hoods! Now!!! Please! Haha I love that hood!

#23 ·
Haha you better not, I've wanted that hood ever since I first discovered AEV back in 2011 when I bought my Mango Sport JKU. It's totally worth saving up for, it really makes your Jeep stand out from the crowd and it looks bad ass sitting behind the wheel. My dealership cut me a $200 deal on the paint job. Only cost $1400 for the hood and paint. They did an excellent job!!

Think the ol lady would kill me if I spent that much on a hood. Laat year I got ARH longtube headers for my ram and I thought that was insane! Too bad I couldn't sell the stock hood to dampin the blow. Also want those black Truck-lite headlights but they're like $500+ a set ha. Oh and that grill that's got the mean eyebrow thing that's $300 ha.

Northridge4x4 has the truck-lites and anti flicker harness on sale for only $399 right now. That's a great deal! I've also worked out a deal where the dealership is going to try and sell my old hood and we will split the price if it sells. Everyone always has horrible stories about their dealerships but I love mine, they are great !!

I should have the Truck-lites by Tuesday. I got them on a similar deal for $395 delivered (including the anti-flicker harnesses)
. There are so many upgrades I want I'm trying to do the stuff that we will use the most. The headlights are supposed to be a big improvement. As for the hood I love it. I agree it is "Bad Ass" looking out over that hood while driving. I forgot one other mod we did, Rampage Locking Hood latches. Now Sleezy will have to work a little harder at stealing it. I have to give some serious thought to a lift/wheel/tire combo in the next few months.

#30 ·
Ohh I need those hood latches too! Well luckily your hoods the same color so its worth thr trouble :mooning:
Have you guys seen though black metal Rampage door handles? Instead of the stock plastic we have. $50 each I think.. I'm tempted to get them.

Well Bird, you know I'd recommend BDS 3" lift if you want 35s... $1100 with upgraded Fox shocks.
Pro Comp black wheels were like $160 each. Super cheap!
I still need a front bumper! Feeling like Poison Spyder because they have a spot for our stock fogs.
Ohh and I want that Rugged Ridge snorkel that's doesn't involve cutting or drilling. Purely looks manly.. ha
MALL CRAWLER :/

The truck-lites are totally worth it. They brighten up everything a ton more than the stock halogens. I just need to find some fog lights that match now. I was thinking of running JW Speaker fogs but not sure how the two different company lights would look together. Or just get an led bulb replacement.
Sleezy I'd pass on the light bar for now. Especially if you don't think you'll use it a lot. I agree it would be awesome, but they are very impractical if you don't plan on any night off-roading. If you want truck-lites I promise you'll use them every night your driving on the roads :)

Birddogn I had an AEV 2.5" lift on my Mango JKU sport. I loved it!!! It was a great on-road/off-road lift and Goodyear Duratracs are an awesome tire! We had the most snow ever recorded last year and they were great in it. I have yet to get a lift for my Rubi because I like how it rides so far. However, when I get some saved up that's what I'll be getting.
Here's a pic of my old Mango Tango.
