I will combine some of my other photos and info into this build thread to make it easier to follow. Going to be a big step next round so stay tuned.
Got my Metal Cloak Overline fenders in, I painted them black and color matched the body panels. Came out amazing, these fenders are so worth the money. Only down side is all the nutserts that have to be installed. I think I still have blisters, hahaha.
Here is a pic when the rears where install:
Here are all four installed:
Also did drilled and slotted rotors from one of the venders on the forum, (will look up who it was and post).
Trail Cal came in today, so will be installing that tonight, looking for some feedback on mods for 40's, brands or thoughts, not gonna be changing axle tubes. Am I wrong thinking that sleeves, gussets replacing axles won't be enough?
All depends on how you use it. I'm going 37s and not doing a thing besides re-gear. If it breaks it breaks, and upgrades will come. But moderate trails shouldn't be an issue on my Daily, weekend trail rig.
That's what I'm thinking so figured I have the knowledge to do gears, axles and weld on gussets/trusses so figured the moderate cost of those would save me being stuck somewhere. I don't wheel hard, (like a Beasly Knob area is the hardest I would be in.
