I still don't understand why Jeep makes the hardtop with a white interior finish. Any sound difference before and after the headliner?

How long did it take to install the headliner and how does attach? I'm ordering this with my jeep that I'm still waiting for.

Not sure about MOPAR, but the HotHeads headliner gives you a choice of double stick tape or Velcro. Personally, I'd go with the Velcro in case I ever wanted to sell the jeep and keep/sell the liners. Or for any other reason you may want to remove them without ruining them.

the Mopar ones have automotive grade adhesive stuck to the back - nice and sticky and seems to hold rather nicely so far. Took me about 20 minutes or so in my garage to do the install....its as simple as peel and stick - they are all labeled for which one goes where.

They do recommend you raise the hardtop about 4 inches (but that's just because you can't get your fingers between the soundbar and the far corners of the panel to stick it down - I didn't do it however...

We could wait for NAIAS, set up a meet and greet and then watch everybody drive off without us!

You know the old saying about apples not falling far from the tree?
My daughter had a Neon for her first car and now has a Liberty. My son's first car was a '92 Cherokee with a 3" lift and 31's, he keep that and picked up an '08 Caliber SRT. Dyno'd last week at 329hp and 352ft#'s.

The fronts were challenging, to say the least. It was just back and forth try to get one threaded, then move to the other. Then when you get the second one threaded, you realize the first one ISN'T threaded right, so you start over. LOL

But DEFINITELY worth it in the end! That was the one nice thing about version 1. None of those sleeves to deal with. Straight bolt in process.

Still glad it was my first real mod and I would still buy them first again on any new jeep.

yeah they don't ever seems to want to thread in straight - so I got frustrated and quit for the night....the lock box and rear GraBars were enough success for one evening IMHO :P

042 - looking good!

For those of you who might be confused by the photo of the Neon's parked up there....that is my Bright Platinum Metallic Neon park next to Paul04tj's Blue one the first time we met with the local car club back in the day....

Oh and for those who were wondering about the fit of the Bestop lock box...there is one bracket under the seat you need to remove (two T30 torx) and then you can use the included zip ties to secure the wires elsewhere under the seat.

Regarding the wheel paint, can you get a rattle can from the dealer that would match the grill?

Probably, but not sure I'd trust regular automotive paint to hold up to the rigors that wheels go through - DupliColor makes a wheel coating in graphite which I've used before without any problems.

Check out the hydro blue thread. A guy posted them side by side. It's REALLY hard to tell them apart in his photos!
