What kind of divider is that separating the seat from the "trunk"? I want something exactly like that but don't know where to look.

It's actually part of the Cargo Top sold by Off Road Heros

Daystar Dash Panel / Ram Mount Install

Installed a couple of Christmas gifts today. First the Daystar dash panel with iphone holder. Didn't realize it wasn't a standard Ram ball when I put it on my wish list so I had to by a Garmin Nuvi ball clip from Amazon and modify it . Works great now! Had I known it probably would have been cheaper to just buy the Daystar phone cradle. I also added a Ram mount to the windshield pillar for my Oregon 450T. I still need to run my power feed to that via the Spod. I will have it and my CB on the same switch since I will only use it when I am offroad for its topo maps. When not in use I will probably keep the mount in the glove box and then just have the ball there.

Up next some wiring for the GPS and an ARB Fridge, swap out my AEV 2" lift for the AEV 2 1/2" Lift with some extras, ARB fridge/ slide install, and an onboard air system.

Subscribing! This is really a great build. I love the black of forest green color. That is what I had on my 2012 Sahara. Too bad they discontinued. Also I am from Minnesota, definitely don't miss the cold! And I don't think I could take a 80° temperature swing in the middle of winter anymore either!

Thanks guys! Yeah if you don't like cold this has definitely not been a winter you want to be in MN I think we're over 50 days below zero

Started ordering parts for my lift:

AEV 2 1/2" Dual Sport and Grade 8 Bolt kit from Northridge 4x4 $999.46
Rancho Control arm Correction brackets Streetside Auto $120.08
Teraflex Front Monster Adj Trackbar East Coast Jeeps Via AMZ.com $206.74
Rear Swaybar link set for front Quadratec $39.98
Rancho 9000XL shocks 4wd.com $327.96

The swaybar links are back ordered so may be a bit before I can do the install

Well almost everything is here and checked to insure nothing is missing. Just waiting on the rear swaybar links which are back ordered at Quadratec. Also picked up a set of ratcheting wrenches. They are Gearwrench hope they are ok I have never bought that brand before but at $36 for a $99 set I figured they were worth a shot.

Also received my sway bar links from Quadratec Saturday so I have all my lift parts and the last couple tools should arrive later this week. Unfortunately I cut my finger pretty good last Monday and will not be able to do the lift for a few weeks until the stitches are removed.

Swapped my battery for a Diehard Platinum AGM from Sears. Should work better for the ARB Fridge I will be running this summer. Lift is up next I have all the parts now just waiting for my finger to heal probably a couple more weeks.

Do you run that in the winter.? I am in west mi and we get a boat load of snow! Even tonight 2-3". Thx.

Thanks! Regarding the ORH top I do not run it in the winter as I have a hardtop. Being from MN and having experience with blowing snow I would probably not run this top in the winter due to the seat belt slits in the rear window. I have no issues with water getting in from rain or even washing the Jeep but blowing swirling snow would get in for sure in my opinion.

I have the ORH multi top which comes with the cargo top and the fastback top. I have never installed the cargo portion of the top and was wondering if you can use the duster cover with the bikini top or is the back window and the duster all one piece?

BTW Love the build. I envy the beautiful state you live in but no way I want all that cold weather you have.

Sunnybasz Thanks! Both actually. Install is very easy but follow the instructions to the T. Basically its rough the surface, clean, and stick.

Thanks UgaTyler! Yeah we got 11+ inches of snow yesterday now I love winter but come on its almost Easter LOL.

Re the ORH top the back window and duster cover are indeed one piece. you could probably roll it under but you would have to be careful so you didn't scratch the window plastic.

The fact that Chris is willing to send me a new set of sliders when he has long since passed a point where he was making money says a lot about Chris and his company. I also did not realize that Chris had offered to replace the sliders when I advised of the point chips and he had suggested if the touch up paint did not meet my satisfaction to let him know. In the end a phone call would have solved my issues so shame on me maybe I need a course in what customer service looks like

I look forward to receiving my new sliders and encourage you to give Chris a call if you're in the market

I know this is an old thread but I just want to say that not much has changed with LoD in two years. I just put the sliders on my JK over the weekend and found the front mounting bracket to be almost 1/4 inch short of reaching the frame. I'm going to put a 3/16 in plate behind it to reduce the amount of distance it pulls the slider in towards the frame.

Well after almost four months of waiting (hurt finger/ Denali climb/ brothers schedule) I finally got the new lift installed. I ended up doing it myself because I got tired of waiting on my brother. Although a bit scary because I'm a decent woodworker but auto mechanics has never been my strong suit or even something I really desired to do until the Jeep. I just took my time and used this forum when I got stuck in the end it was pretty straight forward and I am really happy with the results.

AEV Dualsport 2 1/2" lift/ Rancho 9000xl shocks/ Rancho Geo Correction Brackets/ New front links/ Teraflex monster adjustable track bar

Also added and ARB fridge and dedicated outlet for it in the plastic driver side rear panel

Up next rear bumper water mod, tweeter mod, Tailgator, and back up camera

Well I will start out by saying this is a very subjective question I will provide my opinions but others may not agree LOL.

I went with this set up to improve handling primarily body roll especially in the wind and it delivered. In my opinion it handles noticeably better. Regarding ride the suspension is definitely stiffer then it was factory I am still playing with the shock settings but I preferred the stock ride. If I had a chance to do it over knowing what I now know I would still go with this setup. Yes its a bit stiffer but the body roll and blowing around in a cross wind is gone and the trade off is worth it to me. Hope this was helpful.

Mucho nice build. Can you share what kind of lights you have on the bumper? They look great. Deciding between something like that or a light bar for that spot. How do you like them?

Thanks! They are Hella Rally 4000 Driving lights and I love them!! I have them wired through my sPod and also to my high beams. When the sPod switch is on and I hit my high beams the 4000's come on. When the sPod is off they do not. I purchased the lights and the custom harness from rallylights.com.
