Installed JW Speaker HLs yesterday, have the fogs but have not installed them yet. They are everything I expected and more...I live in the country and they really light up the night. Very happy..

The have just a little flicker that really is not noticeable unless you are stare at the lights on the wall of your garage. Barely noticeable however, I have heard that flickering might impact longevity of the LEDs, so I ordered the anti flicker harness from headlight revolution since I will be soon be installing a grill insert to protect the radiator from super slab projectiles figure knock both installs out at the same time while the grills is off.

Raining hard here today in NC, I might head out to the garage and tackle the fog light install today.

Cheers!

Did you take "before" photos of the stock lights with the new lift? I would have liked to see those with an after photo of the JW Speakers installed.

Comparing the light out put? no.....the JWS LEDs are what should have come on the 2014 Jeep from the factory. The stock lights sucked to put it mildly. I live in the country where I need to see deer at night these are great lights IMHO.

I live in Western NC, in the "Boondocks" in other words remote country. Farms, woods, where the buffalo roam.

Tonight I installed the "anti flicker" harness for my JW Speaker Headlights from Anti-Flicker Harness for the Jeep Wrangler with LED Headlights
it works perfect. No flicker at all none, nada, and a very well made harness. If the JW flicker bothers you this is the ticket. The plug and play wire harnesses for the JW speaker fogs also arrived. Took about 45 minutes to switch out the stock fogs with the JW 6145 fogs... done.

The plug and play is the only way to go….no splicing.

For what its worth….

Add ARB's and Master Craft S/S black powder coated grill this evening

Managed to install the ARB's no power yet, and my MC grill this evening.
The wire loom will have to wait till I am off maybe wednesday.
I think I am reeeeally going to like the ARB's. The s/s mounts that hold the ARBs are well done. They ought to be for what they cost I went with one flood and one spot on the ARBs. I am looking forward to getting juice to them.

Here is a close up of the Mastercraft grill…easy install and a very nice piece of hardware.

another shot-

I'm going the Same route as Billet. Even though my Moab came from the factory equipped with many AEV parts, they were still going to charge me $10k for an upfit. Going with pintler wheels, heat reduction hood and rear tire carrier. Saving about $6,500. Good move Billet

Jeep looks great. Got a very similar set-up en route for mine so seeing it on yours makes me happier with my decisions. Thanks for sharing.

Good idea mixing the flood and spot. You fill both needs for half the price and half the space.

Thanks deepbluewrangler!

I have gotta get the switch wiring harness installed-all in due time. Waiting on my Rigid led floods for the rear mount to arrive. I will mount the two small Rigid led floods on-top of the rear AEV post directly over the spare to light it up back there for a future back up camera install. I need a more wide angle and back up depth view around that spare and so the camera is going to be mounted right over the AEV led brake light. That's the future plan for now.

Much appreciated atx-jk, I think you will be happy with the ARBs if that's what you ordered. There are lots of great choices out there for sure.

Rigid rear floods

This where I will mount the two Rigid leds when they arrive, borrowed photo from another install.

I scooped up an ALUMA super light weight trailer last week, the Rigids will help light things up.
The trailer is about the perfect size and weight for my needs weighing at only 345lbs.

Rear Rigid led install..

So my Rigid flood leds arrived last night…did the install, but am waiting on the SPOD to arrive before powering the ARBs and rear Rigids up. I added a layer of protective clear 3m to the top of the AEV light mounting post to prevent metal on metal and eliminate any possible rust issues years down the road. If you look close you can see the film. Its tuff stuff and adheres great and will keep the metal mounts from rubbing the base plate. I had the material on hand so I figured I might was well use it. I think these will light things up nicely when back up or loading the trailer at night. My last big mod will be the back up camera…and that will be it for a while.

I've been following your build and I gotta say that your Jeep really looks classy. Not over or under done, with just the right parts to make it a 10".

I'm about to follow the same path with my 2014 JKUR in Copperhead pearl. I haven't seen one done in that color YET, and I think the Argent Pintlers will work with that color. Black wheels are over done IMHO.
Couple of questions for you on the Rigid light install.
1. Does the AEV Tire Carrier have a light mount built into the top of it, or is it a separate add on?
2. Did you need any special mount for Rigid Lights to install them on the AEV mount, or did they just mount on the AEV Carrier
3. What back up camera are you going with, AEV has one that mounts on the brake light bracket

Thank you for the compliment, much appreciated, to answer your questions;

1-The AEV spare carrier comes with the light mount and a also shovel mount. A few more of the little details of why I chose AEV components.
2-The Rigid lights came with the mounting brackets and hardware you see.
3- I would like to go with the AEV backup camera that mounts directly over the AEV led brake light which I already have installed. Still waiting for AEV to release/sell the backup camera. Also waiting on my SPOD to arrive.

Hope this helps, enjoy your build! I agree the Argent Pintlers will look great with copperhead pearl!

Back up camera ordered

Seeing not much more than rear tire in my rear view mirror,
I ordered this today. The install is pretty straight forward, I
will mount the camera directly over the AEV led brake light.
Pics will be posted after install is complete. I ordered the
non-Bluetooth model as I already have Uconnect.

METRA® - OEM Style Rearview Mirror and Back Up Camera

Cheers!
