Drove up to Boone, NC and had Rubi Trux do the conversion on my 2014 Wrangler..AEV 3.5" SC lift, ProCal, BFG 315/70/17's, Pintler wheels, alignment, AEV front and rear bumper with rear tire carrier, Y pipe.
Took a day and a half so I had an overnighter in Boone. I really love the difference in handling, stance and appearance. Was happy to have a tech who has installed hundreds of AEV products. The guy was sharp and let me watch the entire install. Very Happy!
Another poser pic…winch some day…local chrysler dealer briefly.
On the Blue Ridge Parkway headed home…
poser side pic..
Had the s/s Y pipe installed..keep from cooking my rubber boot.
I live in the town where AEV started and have been to their r&d shop several times. Very nice stuff and a great outfit. If I win the lotto a Brute with a 6.4 hemi is first on my list.
Looks Awesome. I traded in my 2014 2Dr. white Rubicon for 2014 Copperhead JKUR on Friday.
When I saw your post Saturday morning, You've have inspired me!
Cant decide on weather to go with the AEV 250 or the 350 package, eventually adding 5.7 Hemi upgrade. Gotta have the Hemi.
I think I'm going have all the work done at AEV.
Unless you talk me out of going direct
Have Rubi Trux or AEV do the work. If AEV does the conversion you get the AEV badging.
As for package choices personal choice. You may consider checking out the AEV forum on their website. Absolutely personalizes the Jeep IMHO.
amazed eh? This photo was taken with the jeep up on the lift. Suspension just hanging. The angle is not the same with full weight of the Jeep minus garage lift.
Just ordered the JW Speaker LED headlights/harness and matching LED fog lights.
Should have them by Wednesday or Tuesday. Happy,happy,happy....will post up pics
after install.
It is mostly the bolts ons, but they add the AEV leather embroidery and AEV gauges. Unless you get a hemi, its not a conversion, more of an "AEV edition." For those that cant/dont want to build their own rigs, its a fine choice. Id never buy those dealer modded heaps.
it is a beautiful wrangler. Not sure why a couple of guys like to rain on parades. The way I look at it he had a nice wrangler converted to the vehicle of his dreams so why get hung up on verbage.

Installed JW Speaker HLs yesterday, have the fogs but have not installed them yet. They are everything I expected and more...I live in the country and they really light up the night. Very happy..
The have just a little flicker that really is not noticeable unless you are stare at the lights on the wall of your garage. Barely noticeable however, I have heard that flickering might impact longevity of the LEDs, so I ordered the anti flicker harness from headlight revolution since I will be soon be installing a grill insert to protect the radiator from super slab projectiles figure knock both installs out at the same time while the grills is off.
Raining hard here today in NC, I might head out to the garage and tackle the fog light install today.
Comparing the light out put? no.....the JWS LEDs are what should have come on the 2014 Jeep from the factory. The stock lights sucked to put it mildly. I live in the country where I need to see deer at night these are great lights IMHO.
Tonight I installed the "anti flicker" harness for my JW Speaker Headlights from Anti-Flicker Harness for the Jeep Wrangler with LED Headlights
it works perfect. No flicker at all none, nada, and a very well made harness. If the JW flicker bothers you this is the ticket. The plug and play wire harnesses for the JW speaker fogs also arrived. Took about 45 minutes to switch out the stock fogs with the JW 6145 fogs... done.
The plug and play is the only way to go….no splicing.
Thanks deepbluewrangler! It's a work in progress....I ordered my ARB LEDs and a set of a Rigid floods for rear lighting. These lights and a backup camera install will finish the build for now:happyyes:
