Black Widow '14 Rubi X Unltd Build

I started adding stuff to her before I figured out all the bells and whistles on here so here are some pictures of what I have done so far. Sorry for the crappy quality. So much snow up here in Michigan it's hard to get a clean look at everything. Lol

How she looked the day I got her.

Added some JW Speaker 6045 fog lights.

Then added some JW speaker 8700 Evo Headlights.

And tomorrow she goes in to have some Bushwacker Flat fender flares put on. And then when I get back home I'm replacing the turn markers in the grille with LEDs.

Looking good

Have you considered a hood lock?
It would be a shame if someone popped your hood and made off with it.

Haven't even thought of it.. Thanks for the idea though!! That would be awful. More pics will be up later today after the fender flares and LED markers get put on! Thanks again for the idea!

Here are some before pics when I dropped it off for the fender flare installation. The drivers side front one got in a tussle with a deer so that'll be fixed after this, thank God!

Damn, that sucks. Makes me glad that I have manual locks. But, I also have a soft-top, so I don't keep anything of value in my Jeep anyway.

Not to hi-jack either - sorry for that. Your Jeep is looking good, and I'm awaiting the flare post-install pics!!

Ohhh no worries at all. And I know, I can't wait either!! I'm not extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all the technical stuff so I'm gonna throw a question out there. I know 35x12.50s will fit on a Rubi X with the stock lift as long as I don't go off road and flex it a bunch but my question is, will I need wheel spacers so they clear everything width wise in the wheel well or will I be alright?

Thanks in advance.

With your current bumper, I don't think that you will have any issues with turning/rubbing, but I am not 100% certain. I highly recommend avoiding spacers if possible!!
With my Rubi, I did have to trim the plastic skid plate, and (while I still had the stock bumper) I had to remove the backside of the bumper. I just took a Dremel to it though - easy fix.

Wasn't able to get post-instal pics because 2 police cars broke down and needed to be fixed in the middle of them doing my fenders lol. So it'll be done today and I'll post pics when I get her!

Thank you! Next up are Recon LED grille blinkers With a smoke lens. Those should be finished tonight. Promised the gf she could help me instal them lol.

Next up are new wheels, tires, and a little lift. Getting some XD Series Misfits 17x9. For tires I'm going with Nitto Mud Grapplers 35x12.5.

Those will be in in a couple of weeks but I'm not going to put them on until the weather warms up and gets nicer. Hope you enjoy the mods as much as I do!

Here's the Recon smoked LEDs!! Pretty easy install after I researched it. If anyone has questions about them or the install let me know.

Decided to paint the good vents red to match the recovery hooks and decals on the hood. They are drying right now so I'll take some pics with them installed later. Here is the progress pics so far.

Alright here they are! They're a darker meaner red in person but I couldn't get my camera to focus on the jeep and bring out the natural color.

Looking really good man! I definitely like the fenders!! And good choice with painting the hood vents. I think it adds a nice flare.

I love the looks of those Nittos - I can't wait to see what they look like on your Jeep. It's coming along very nicely! Once those tires hit the mud, I'm sure that you will enjoy them even more!!

Are you still running the stock headlights, or did I miss a post about replacements?

Thanks you! I can't wait to get them put on. I'm still waiting on some shocks for my lift kit and then I'll have the shop put that in along with my wheels and tires. I think I posted about the headlights but I could be wrong. They are JW Speaker 8700 Evos and I love them! I have the JWS 6045 fog lights to match and the difference from the stock fogs and headlights is ridiculous. I also just got some recon taillights that are smoked out to match the front grille blinkers I have. I'll make a post about that soon.
Thanks again for the support!

Here she is!! AllPro Auto installed it all for me. If you are in the Lansing, MI area and are looking for a place to get stuff installed or tuned up I highly recommend them.
