I was also so impressed with the headlights I knew I wasnt going to be let down by the fogs. The first night I drove with them installed i didnt really notice them..........until I turned them off. They basically fill in where the headlights dont reach directly in front of the jeep. They are also super wide just like the headlights. I wouldnt say they are absolutely necessary if you have the headlights but I have yet to think it was a bad investment. Im 100% happy with the lighting and in my opinion it was money well spent.
Thanks for the info, looks like I'll add them to my Xmas list for Santa

Now you just need a set of Windshield LED's or a Bumper LED Bar, makes the speakers look like incandescent light bulbs when they are lit up.

Lookin good Milkman!

Yeah I have been hesitant to do the windshield lights just because im not sure when I would use them. I do really like the look of the small cube style lights. The price isnt horrible either so it could be a future upgrade for sure.

Geez I swear the front fenders on a jk r the most hideous thing jeep has ever put on a wrangler (even over the square head lights) theyre just too big to look good and they shulda followed the lines of the grill instead of sticking past. It worked somewhat on the tj but just an eye sore on the jk.

Im not sure I get the point of your post in here? I know everyone is entitled to there own opinion but why come in my build thread just to say you hate the fenders on JKs?

Just wanted to say your Jeep looks killer Branman!

It's funny because all the mods you've done are exactly what I've been wanting to do on my Jeep for a while now too. I just got my 8700's so they'll be going on (hopefully) this weekend, and I've got the 6145 fogs on my wishlist (I may pick your brain about the install on those once I've got them haha).

Also I'd really like to get the Banks intake too. Did you end up ordering one?

Thanks a bunch!

You will absolutely love the JWs. The pics just don't do them justice. I actually really enjoy driving at night now. I look for reasons to go out just to see them haha.

Please if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. If you would like my phone number that way you don't get stuck in the middle and have to wait for a response. That's completely up to you. It's a fairly easy install and pretty straight forward so you should have much trouble

The intake I have not ordered yet. I am going to wait a bit. I just purchased the superchips flashpaq and will be doing some beta testing for superchips. I got a great deal on the tuner considering I will be giving superchips feedback on the product. I was on the phone with them for about a half hour today just asking questions and they seem like a great group of people. The intake is def next for sure. I may just wait until after my birthday which is coming up or Christmas.

Man, your jeep does look great! I myself came from a 2012 Jetta GLI and now have a 2dr Anvil JK. You've sold me on spacers/285's I really like the look.

Thanks I appreciate that! It'll be a while still before I get those but I'll take you up on that offer if I really get stuck.

I look forward to hearing how it goes with Superchips and to all your future mods. Cheers!

Thank you! Yeah I will miss my gti but I'm in love with this jeep. The 285s and spacers are a great combo I think. I like the factory wheels on these JKs and wanted to hang onto them for a while.

Yeah I'll update this thread with a play by play on the tuner. I'm excited to check it out.

Thank you!

The spacers are there to push the wheels out a little further. The 285s rub the front swaybar while going full lock. I think it improves the look as well so it's a win win for me haha.

Can you post some pictures of the Magnaflow installed? I am between it and the Dynomax Comp evo system. I've had Magnaflow on my past 3 vehicles and was happy. The only reason I am considering the Dynomax is it's about 1/2 price. Thanks.

I will get pics tomorrow. I was trying to do some video as well for sound clips. I may not get to that until Sunday.

I got my magnaflow from hottexhaust.com and used coupon code F62MPC38EX. The final price comes to 322 shipped. I thought it was a great deal so I jumped on it.

Hey Branman! Was surfing the build threads looking for more ideas and here you are. You've been a busy boy and you Jeep is looking GREAT!! Do you take any time to sleep? Gotta get a build thread started as well. Been taking pics along the way but haven't stopped to upload.

Have fun and will keep watching your build to see what you're up to and to get more ideas. Enjoy!

I see the homies from the waiting rooms have stopped by as well. "Hi" to Star, Turch, X, Jeepers, donmecc!

This is my first build thread on any vehicle and im no stranger to forum life haha. I was being pushed by Star haha. Im glad I did though its pretty fun. Ill have a few small updates this weekend.

I cant believe im getting so much feedback. I didnt really think I had much going on and didnt want the thread to be boring.

Exhaust pics!!! These arent the bestI apologize

This has been on the jeep for about a week so the fresh shiny pipes are gone haha. The exhaust really tucks up nicely and fits great. I have no rattles or anything.

I actually decided not to install the tail section which basically is a pipe that runs to the bumper. I think it looks cleaner this way because you cant see anything from behind unless your down low. The sound is no different with or without installed.

I do have a video uploading to youtube so Ill link that as soon as its done.

Here is the video I did. Its a quickie and not with my normal camera I use. I didnt realize how crappy it records audio. The sound is much better in person but this will give everyone an idea. I tried to capture a few different RPMs. There is no raspy sound at all which I was happy about.

Let me know what you guys and gals think.
