Slapped some fox resi shocks on after taking them down to fox and having them custom Tuned...I'll grab some shims to tweak it here or there...
Slapped 7"+ orange crowne stainless lines on...and flushed out all the old brake fluid with synthetic.

Went over to run a tire on the wall to check clearances and where to start modifying for more flex.

I see the rocklights listed in the build list as brut4ce. Do you sell them, or just something you installed? Details?

I sell em...got tired of spot designs and barely enough light from the other stuff and people doubling up lights...this kit is only 6 lights and 1300+ lumens as well as the mount I g plates are adjustable- the LED's are 180 degree with no hot spots don't get warm and 36 diodes perpanel....

Fox uses a system that's easy for them and repeatable I'm used to mils and placement.
I had them open the. Compression up a smidge with a little more rebound.
I got extra shims here so I can add or subtract some to get it dialed...

What I'm after is:
softer compression especially.lay on small bumps (probably do a flutter stack)
More rebound so when crawling I don't get spring back when dropping off rocks and or unwanted bouncing...I want it more controlled and smooth . It feels really smooth now but won't know till I get it up to speed in the washes and dirt.

(And avoid packing up from too much rebound, its a balance)

I'll get numbers from them per their spec.....and the shim thickness of the stacks they used...

Regular is ####, ####, #### thousandth in certain order fox is 30/60 lol its super smart and simple but you need to know what shims it consists of to make that number.

Sure looks fancy lol again another sweet set up. I like how this one is turning more dual purpose.

And of course a flex test...

Got where it needs to be, rear pulled 2" in back so after looking at it these are my areas to be modified...
- rear sway bars longer, rear wheel well stuffs completly, front abs lines, front shocks bend over...

So to address this rear shock mounts are moving up 1.5" front shock mounts up 1.3" out 1.5" and rotated 90 degrees, make longer rear links, 4" synergy springs and cut rear well...

I guess now would be the perfect time to ask since we just got some rain, how does the safari top windjammer combo work for you? Any major leaks? I'm in the process of gathering the parts to do the same setup on my jku

No but I did a wall, added some vinyl top material in rear corners and. Closed cell foam up front...

During the height of a massive down pour a couple drips came in but that was it.

HYDRO ASSIST:
So I have my 08 steering box and PSC sector shaft in now I'll drill and tap it, plug the ends and install it...should have the PSC ram and cooler in a couple weeks and the hydro assist will be up and running...

And a better shot of my reservoir setup.

Reservoirs hanging off the back is a odd spot rocks puncture them...now I've piled off rocks and not taken my sway bar out where its against the body so these are a perfect spot.

It works for most but it is a magnet to the carnage and not a cheap fix....

As always nice fab skills. I just keep drooling over that rear bumper. Can you PM me about the rock lights.

Wasn't me lol this is the bar from the handicap restroom at am/pm...

I'll pm you info on light setup....

Here's a shot of me almost flipped over, the slider kept me from going off...pics don't do it justice...

Pic of the other side
The springs have no pre load I'm stuck on 2 rocks a big one in back rolled and off the the passenger side drops off immediately 4 feet...had to be winched diagonal to keep from sliding off the rock.

So got a 2008 Delphi box from a buddy in swap for mine when I pull it he went PSC so he had this box as back up and mines a 2010 so no Delphi box....

So long story short went ahead and snagged a PSC sector shaft for it, tapped it and will be assembling all parts sooner than later...
I'll add fittings tomorrow and cap em off..throw it in and run lines in a week or so to ram and cooler.

Info comes from goodysgotacuda and his info he acquired from his links...credit goes to him, co4lo and medic.

Got tired of jacked steering

There's a vein inside where its drilled to center of it is at end of ruler

Here's the other hole and measurement

I am also curious on this topic. I am wanting to make the same or very similar set up for sealed cockpit. I figured a few drips here and there but need some guidance on what worked best for you? I got the bestop bikini/safari top already. What brand is the windjammer you used? And you just sealed the openings that remained by making your own vinyl or canvas type "joints" if you will at all the seems?

Rear corners I used vinyl topaterial from UFO fabrics on Melrose ave in vista California...cut a small piece and jam it in there cut excess and let itcover under the top and windjammer....
Closed cell foam for any areas that are lifted or not tight go higher than needed then sinch too back down tight it will mold to top and bar....
