Build: Trying to Find the JK's inner TJ

Alright guys ive never really posted anything up about what I do to my own rig, but I am adding quite a few pieces to my (stock) 07 JKUR.
Once I bought my JKUR I thought there was no use in having 2 Jeeps in the driveway so I decided to trade my 97 TJ for a Dyna with only 2k miles. Good trade if you ask me. But in all honesty I miss some of the offroad characteristics
of my good ol TJ. So im finally dropping the coin on some upgrades. Hopefully this stuff helps someone in some way or another.

New Parts
1. Currie 4" Rock Jock lift kit
2. Fox Shox w/ Remote Resi.
3. Front and Rear Adj. Track arms.
4. Artec Front and Rear Axle Truss' / Dana 44
5. Artec Inner C Gussets
6. Smittybilt XRC Rock Crawler Winch
7. KC 8" HID's

As of right now I've got both the axles out and they are ready to be grinded, welded and the build will begin.

I will post pictures tomorrow after I bust some stuff out day by day and let you know how everything goes.

P.S. I am not a shittybilt fan but I got a smokin' deal and couldnt afford the Warn bumper I wanted so I settled. Sweet dreams boys

I think that short list will make you happy for sure. I have a Jk and still have my Tj, I still go back and forth as to sell the tj and put the money in the jk. But I still love the tj, so who knows.
They both have lifts and 33's. So my dilemma now is witch jeep to take wheeling.....

Good luck on the build. Sounds like your on to a great start.

Good luck. You will find the JK just as capable.

Does the currie kit offer a drop pitman arm? Like the Tj i would leave it out. Stay stock. If bumpsteer becomes a issue, there is a better option.

The kit did come with a Drop Pitman Arm which I ended up scraping. Just did the Synergy drag link flip last night.

Also reattached the front sway bar which makes a world of difference on the street.

At the moment I am installing AEV's Geo Correction Brackets and already have the driver side done.

Cant wait to go out for a final test drive. I will post pictures of all the goodies and everything I've added in the past couple of months.

I'm currently trying to take a nap in the work truck at a rest stop. I'll be posting pictures and descriptions of everything I've done later today. So far I'm pleased with everything besides the junk Rubicon Express Front Track Arm and the Alloy USA ball joints that I went through in less than a month.
