First off, I wish I would have started this a year ago when I got my Jeep but that's okay, now I can start tracking my build for future reference and maybe help give others ideas or answer any questions like many have done for me! . You are all awesome!
Now to start off, I know a 2.5" lift and 35"s doesn't really make the Jeep a Goliath but one day it will be there. My build my not be the fastest but I promise lots of pictures since everyone loves those! So thank you for stopping by and feel free to dish out the criticism, ask questions or whatever else comes to mind.
I bought the jeep used with a teraflex 2.5" lift and 35"s but everything else was done by me. Here is a quick before and after and then I will go back and add pictures for different mods I've added over the past year.
Some of the bigger mods included:
Poison Spyder bfh front and rear bumpers
Genright tire carrier
Synergy ball joints
Synergy track bar
Synergy tie rod
Synergy drag link
Synergy sector shaft brace
Smittybilt winch
Yukon chromoly front axle shafts
M.O.R.E oil pan/ tranny skid
For lighting so far I went with a light bar and rock lights. Next up will be fog lights on the winch fair lead. The switches I went with are from OTRATTW, they are awesome!
A few of the smaller upgrades:
I learned how to paracord to make handles, a door restraint and zipper pulls.
Trek armor seat covers
Smittybilt Molle tailgate storage
Tuffy under seat storage
Horns made by hella (since the stock ones suck and I like the look of these).

Yesterday I started prep work on my tub for when my monstaliner order comes in (hopefully before this weekend) . I found some unwanted rust that was only surface rust which I'm glad I found it now so it can be addressed sooner than later!
I applied acitone and went to town with a rubber mallet and paint scraper.
A few cool wheelin pictures. And some paper tag wheelin from the first time my girlfriend drove the jeep. These pictures were taken on either Moab or CO.
My grandfather has been working with me on welding so hopefully I will be able to weld on my truss and gusset myself before I go to 37"s (in the next few months).
So the topic of recovery equipment and how to store it comes up quite a bit so I figured I would show how I went about it.
1st I purchased a "trunk" made by Plano for 50$.
I then made a few not so precise cuts to the bottom of the trunk.
Last I inserted a piece of round bar through the rear seat mounts to secure the trunk.
(Stickers are optional)
Installed the Bestop under seat security drawer for the CZ and or other valuables. Put some weather stripping along the edges to keep it from rattling.

Can't believe I don't have a box yet. I need to get on that! How do you like the CZ? I've never shot one, trigger looks interesting. NEVER enough guns!
Here is a link, https://www.otrattw.net/. The company name is OTRATTW (over the river and through the woods). The switches are awesome and there are a lot of options to choose from.
Thank you for checking out my build thread!
I appreciate it gunner! Yea, I cannot wait to go to 37"s, i'm sure my wallet wont like me but it will be well worth it. Judging by your pictures im sure you put those 37"s through their paces. :worthy:
Well I've got 3 mounted and am working on the 4th!
