Fat Jono's 2014 Black Sahara

Whats up guys, Im really excited to be here on the forum with such awesome and inspiring people. I just received my Wrangler on November 18th, just under two months from purchase. After two weeks I can say its the best vehicle I have ever owned.

I have a lot of upcoming plans for her and will continue to post as the budget allows lol

Tomorrow UPS should be dropping off A pair of Grabars and also a full set of Trek Amor Seat covers that I bought used off of fellow member alabamajeep.

And tonight I just ordered a set of LED Dome lights that should be in the next few days.

I will post my progress tomorrow.

Its not going to be as nearly as awesome as some of the other builds on here but I thought I would share anyways.

Happy Jeeping.

Congratulations! Welcome to modding!

I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about the GraBars when you get them put on. Remember to take it slow when you install and only turn each bolt two or three turns at a time, so you keep it level. It is a little bit of a pain, but DEFINITELY worth it in the end!

Interested in the LED interior lights, too. Haven't done anything like that.

Wooooooooooooooooo

My Grabars came in today from W.D.

Welcome Distributing

I wasn't about to let the weather stop me from getting my mod on.

They where supper easy to install taking me less then 25 minutes.
Only tools needed where a 13mm socket and a #6 hex

Thanks for the advice on setup Starbrite, It made for a quick and painless install I love them and I know my girl will too.

Chewie!

I don't envy you the snow tire deal. The only place I've ever lived besides Florida, up till now, was North Carolina. We didn't get enough snow there to change them out. That's got to STINK, leaving all that mod money tied up in wheels/tires you can only use four months of the year!

I will definitely be back to see how things go!

Ya it definitely sucks but the way I look at is I can get some cool off road rims that I dont have to worry about and just beat on and then keep my stock rims for backup. Im not to worried about tires I think the stock sahara tires will be fine for winter. I just don't want to trash the rims.

Smart way to go! Didn't think about it that way, ie saving the stock wheels. Good idea!

Going out this afternoon to get my wheels swapped, as long as everything else goes right.

Can't wait to see your Chewie stickers when you put them on!

Put on one of my Chewbacca decals today. Well actually I put both on but I screwed up the alignment on the drivers side so I had to take it off lol. But in the mean time the passenger side came out fine.

Just got my Lights in this afternoon. Its a bit cold and nasty out to be hooking them up right now but I also ordered a Rugged Ridge A-Pillar Switch Pod that I would like to just install together with the lights so I will update when I get to work. Im excited for these because I cant see for S$it at night. In the mean time my partner in crime K.P. said he would keep an eye on them.

I went with these to start but I plain on getting more. Especially has Ill have room for a extra three switches.

All Hooked up.
Im not going to go into much detail about setting them up as there are many pages already but by all means if any one has any questions don't hesitate to ask. I will say that the harness that came with these lights made for a hassle free set up. And they are so much brighter then the stock hi beams. Defiantly glad I grabbed these. I was worried that they might be to cheap or low quality. Not the case at all.

Also I really liked the rugged ridge a pillar for the switches.

I need some led dome lights. The stock ones are like using a Bic lighter in a cave. You've got a good looking Jeep.

Just picked up a High lift Jack and rugged ridge mount off a fellow member.

Really easy to install.
I have no idea what brand the jack is but its heavy duty.

Hope to never need it. But in case of a jam I wouldn't trust the jack that came with my Jeep lol

Red looks NICE with the black!

Mike just got his high lift on Monday. Wouldn't you know, we needed it to help out a friend who blew a tire climbing a hill while we were out wheeling this weekend! Glad it wasn't ME popping tires this time though. LOL
