so i have a question being as i don't have a rubi... you guys leave the sway bars connected and just use the electronic disconnect? i could be wrong, but i thought that you really didn't want to do big flexing with the sway bar links connected.

what i mean is that you should disconnect at the links not the electronic disconnect for moderate off roading. do you guys find that's not true?

for moderate off roading just use the electronic disconennect. don't have to do anything if your using a anti rock it works staying connected.

I leave the links on. If I ever tear anything up I will back up and punt, but so far everything has worked out great.

I am not taking it easy on it eather so thats not why its still togher.

Disconnect

I have never manually disconnected anything, whenever offroad I just hit my sway bar disconnect and let it roll. Likewise I've never hurt anything with max excursion on my rig.

Thanks for the invite, but I'll be on the Blue Ridge Parkway in our beautiful NC mountains that weekend. Hope your "SPORT" survives the trails (really just kidding, couldn't resist though)! Have fun, I'll check your thread for pics!

Nice Jeep, it’s a hell of a build.
I really did enjoy this thread, glad all worked out in the end.
I have to admit though, if you run Rubi stickers on a non Rubi, it's sad. It's the same with the fake SS Chevelle’s, the fake Cobra’s, all sad.
Regardless of the build itself people are laughing behind your back.

Thank you - I actually went back through the thread and found what I was looking for, must have missed it the first time.

Did you have the 4-wheel shop install the side steps? I would be doing it myself and I have read certain side steps require some grinding for holes to line up correctly.

BTW - your jeep is awesome. I just got a 2.5 lift on mine and I thought it was high...now mine looks small.

Wife got it for me, it is awesome! You truly can't comprehend how heavy this thing is, it feels like a brick. If my gun ever jams I could literally use it to bludgeon someone!

All my stuff was installed at once by 4WP but I'm pretty sure you do have to drill some holes.

Awesome Jeep man, been cruising the thread for the past couple of days. BTW, LOVE the color, had a 70 383 Challenger back in the day same color basically, my buddies used to call it Puke Green, I loved it!

I'm going from 37 TOYO;s to 40 TOYO's next week, just got a set of 1.5 spacers for the front. I had a couple of questions, I got one answered, your running 28lbs on the street if I remember right? What do you drop them to in the sand? Also, I probably missed it, but what did you do with the rear driveshaft?

Thanks in advanced, and yeah, AWESOME Jeep, I'd say our color is opposite of yours!
