Joe Dirt's JK build

As many of you know, My trusty TJ was wrecked. After 10 years of turning wrenches I'm starting a new project, a 2013 2Door JK. I decided to start this thread just for fun and I'll post pictures as I go.

My old TJ.

And the new JK

Like most people I'm going to start slow, just like i did with the TJ. Of course the TJ ended with axles, gears, lockers and big tires after 10 years of wrenching. But, for now I'm taking it easy. I ordered mine with a limited slip and 3.73 gears from the factory. Yesterday, I went to 4wheelparts and ordered some 285/75/16 ProComp extreme terrain tires and these wheels with a Teraflex 2" lift. I think the wife would kill me if I tore it up right away
I'll post a picture after the install.

It's been a while since I've updated my build and I've added a few things. I'll try to get caught up. Here a picture of the customized Yakima removable roof rack I installed. It works great for my surfboards.

Here is a photo of the LOD bumper I installed. I also have a 8K Smittybilt winch I salvaged off my old wrecked TJ before the insurance company took it
