Hey all, now i know my jeep is absolutely nothing spectacular but i thought others might get some enjoyment and product knowledge/answers especially if they are not going with a crazy build. Well anyways "cash" (the man in black he's a black jk get it? Lol) is a 13 jk sport. Bare bones. I even have roll up windows lol. Purchased it on may 29th 2013. I drove it off the lot just as it looks in this pic.
I had the dealer install 255/75/17r trail grapplers along with 17" pro comp 7069's. A 1 3/4" crown auto budget boost was also thrown on per my request before taking it home. I cant say enough good things about this setup. The BB is plenty of lift for what i do and still gives that aggressive look. In regards to the trail graps, they are phenomenal. Im gonna try to stay away from giving a review about every product i have put on Throughout this initial post, but i will give one or two comments. if you guys have questions or want a deeper comment though just reply on here and i will answer
After a while i decided i needed some more lighting. I decided to go with a mbrp (off camber) light bar. Coupled with two kc daylighters i found it to be a beautiful setup that works very well. IMO the mbrp is the best looking bar for the factory bumper.
Cash stayed like this for a while until i finally got him on a serious trail that opened my eyes to the things that could be improved. I successfully peeled my rear diff cover on a rock (not enough to bust it open it just started to sweat) while wheeling. So those had to be replaced. I decided to go with poison spyder bombshell diff covers front and rear. They are absolute beef. I could see someone snapping an axle tube before hurting this things.
At the same time shocks were on the performance list. After much deliberation i decided to go with rancho 7000mt's. I love these shocks. For a more in depth review check out kjeeps and my own review on them.
In the above picture you can also see the teraflex rear track bar bracket i had to install as a result of the track bar hitting the ps diff cover. A common problem that is easily resolved, all the while improving the stability of the jeep and centering the axle. I highly recommend it on a jeep with any lift above stock!
During the above wheeling trip i was connected the whole time. And boy did it feel like it. So i decided to purchase jks quicker discos. They are very well made. If you have never been in a discod jeep you need to be to feel the difference. Everything smooths right out even when still aired up. And its makes for nice flex pics
The last two things i added were the teraflex rear tire carrier (just the carrier not the hinge) and a flashcal. I will take a few pics of the carrier as i would like to do a review on that but i dont have any pics to show at the moment
and the flashcal i already have a review out on so make sure to check it out. Of course i did add a few misc. things like slush mats, grab handles, rubi rails etc. but i feel these these dont really need mention lol. Again if anyone has any questions or comments please reply! Happy wheeling from me and cash!
