LOL

No can do! I despise mud. Beach sand is enough of a PITA to get out man. I spent yesterday cleaning it all up from Saturday's beach day. It's totally worth it though.

I'm not crazy about mud bogging but it's hard go off-road anywhere around here without running into mud. A pain to clean up afterwards though. At least with beach sand it's mostly just vacuuming and then washing the salt off. I've just resigned myself to the fact that using my Jeep in Florida means getting it muddy.

Maybe some of us here in NE Florida need to plan a trip north where we there are more hills and rocks, and less mud and water.

Around Jacksonville there are plenty of opportunities to do some beach driving. Down in St. Augustine there are two drivable beaches, and then further north in Amelia Island there are a few spots to drive on the beach. They're not huge places, but fun as hell to drive up with all your beach gear and just post up right there by the Jeep. Check out Peter's Point, American Beach, Amelia Island State Park, and Huguenot Memorial Park.

Thanks for the info. Nice looking Jeep man. I've been looking into the license plate relocation. I like your idea may use it myself if you don't mind

Hey Kramer, I've been creeping on this build for some time and I want to say this is an awesome Jeep you have going here! I have put at least half of your mods on my list wish in one way or another. With that being said what type of MOLLIE rack did you buy for your tailgate? I have had MOLLE gear on my list for some time and I'm finally getting into figuring out which gear I want to buy. Almost pulled the trigger on the Smittybuilt GEAR tailgate set but I keep coming back to the set up you have and liking it. Thanks for the info and again, great Jeep!!

Unfortunately, no, I haven't yet done the windshield lights. Funds don't allow any Jeep toys at the moment.

You're right, I'm way past due for some new pictures. Ironically, Florida in July and August isn't exactly Jeep weather for me personally. I probably drive the Jeep less in these two months than any of the other 12. It's just so oppressively hot and humid that swamp ass (!) is right around the corner and a pop-up storm is sure to strike.

Seller is on ebay. Thread about it here, with more pics:

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/fan...on-186396.html

If you contact him, let us know if he's switched back to the better older design for the rear side panels

That explains it, I saw a link to ebay for one that sounded just like this but I can't access ebay while at work

Thanks, and will do!

Why is there no green light on the top part of the switches in this pic?

It's because I don't have my headlights turned on in that picture. That is "day time" mode with all switches ON.

First off great rig. Secondly, as you might have seen there is an awesome head rest mod where instead of taking them out, you can just remove the two locking pins on each one which allows them to lay folded down until you release the seat to lower it, they then pop back into place and are basically stock all over again. I can find the thread if you're interested.

Thanks for popping in and making that offer. Much appreciated.

However, I do prefer to not even have the headrests installed. If I had adult passenger back there regularly I might consider keeping them, but they're more of an eyesore than anything for my personal use as far as the backseat goes.

Go ahead and post up that link if you have it handy for anyone else that might find it useful though.

Yes, please do. Soon I'll have to retire my beloved TJ for a JKU. No disrespect to its ability nor its Jeepness, I just prefer my Jeep to be smaller. New addition to the family dictates a change. The ridiculously huge government-mandated headrests need to be dealt with. I'll either beg Kramer to help me remove them or do the mod described above. It would be great to have both options.
