Just be super-careful with jack-stands. We had 2 fatalities this summer with rides falling on people underneath... on in front of the dude's 7 year old daughter...

Nice looking switches! I saw several threads on wiring the second led did you find any more helpful than the others? And Did you tie it into the dimmer circuit?

I didn't look at any of the other threads about wiring it so I couldn't say.

Yes it is tied into the dimmer circuit. I just pulled the dash cluster taped into the dash light feed going into the instrument cluster. if you are facing the dash, it is the far right black plug and as I recall it is the orange wire.

The ZTS is for the 10" rigid Light on the front bumper. The beer does not have a function yet and the trunk monkey turns on the rear rigid back up lights in the tail lights :-)

I'm north of Taos and have a stock JKR Dozer. No mods planned at this time, but may add an exo-skeleton rack at some point. I wonder what the total Dozer population is in northern NM?

Funny I'm in Taos right now until tomorrow. I don't know I've seen maybe a dozen running around, another 20 or so on dealer lots.

Well, you won't see it running around for a while unless my wife takes it out. I'm back on East coast, working and dealing with Sandy. Wish I was there. I mean I REALLY wish I was there. My wife says weather is beautiful there.

Oh - and enjoy your Jeep! Great mods.

I've had mine off roading in Silverton/Ouray area, and more recently drove to Utah for a week of backpacking in Grand Gulch. Want to get up to Moab next.

It is an SPod box and switching system, then I replaced the switches with otrattw switches. If you want the true factory look then go with green on the bottom as the factory dash is green and what ever color you like on the top for when the switch is activated.

Fantastic job on this thread and your many, many mods all of which are tastefully done. I do have a noobie question for you, how close is the color of your Jeep compared to a full size Caterpillar tractor?

So how do these light up? Is there a side toggle switch on the SPOD switch box that turns on the bottom row of lights and then when you activate each button the top row turns on?

Thank you for the compliments! It's not. Caterpillar is more yellow. The "dozer orange" is more like "yellow freight" color

There are two lights in each switch. The bottom light is wired to the dash light circuit so that when I turn on the running/head lights it comes on. Also I can dim then with the dimmer switch just like the regular dash lights. The "on light" for the actual switch comes on when I activate the switch.

My understanding is that the Dozer color matches the tractors that Fiat makes. A Google search will find you some pictures that supports this.
