Hello from one MN native surviving the winter from hell to another!

Thanks for sharing your upgrades. I recently (Oct. 13) bought a new 2014 JK Unlimited Sport in anvil. Love it. Been chomping at the bit to start adding some upgrades (the dealer was nice enough to have installed a 2.5 inch lift, 18" wheels with 35" tires, some nerf bars and the bushwacker flat fender flares prior to me buying it). I really like what you've done.

Yes, has been a BRUTAL winter! Sounds like you have a nice start from the dealer. What part of MN you in? I'm in Farmington (south burb of the cities). Bought mine in October as well and looking forward to Spring and getting the top off!

You have no idea!
Did put on an antenna X about a month ago. Have a few decals to add but it has been too cold and concerned they may not adhere properly - so will wait for warmer weather. Been pondering Trek Armor seat covers and Spiderwebshade but haven't decided about sticking with black or spice it up and do black with red insert seat covers and red Spiderwebshade. Haven't found any pics of Anvil with that combo (other than red seats in the Anvil 10A) to see what it would look like. I know what you would suggest, haha!

smart to hold out a bit. 2012's (I have this year) got the crap single windshield washer sprayer, no rearview mirror lighting, crap seats compared to my buddies 2013 return to rationalization (and the somewhat muting of the bean counters)

Ran into my first minor problem. Rotated the tires (self) last weekend and since then the TPMS is not working correctly. First, the dirver-front tire registered "- - " for a 1/2 day then started registering 10 lbs low (double checked all tires and the TPMS was reading low).

About 2 days later, that tire was reading correctly and the passenger-front did the exact same thing. I rotated in the spare but that tire is reading correctly.

Culled the forum and internet and tried a couple of suggestions. Turn key from off to accessory setting x3 (no change). Disconnected battery x10 min (no change).

Called the dealer and they said there is no reset function and that nothing needs to be done when rotating tires with regard to TPMS. I'll post in the forum and see if anyone has a trick before bringing it in.

Funny, I have the same wander decal... still sitting in the envelope from PixelDecals, waiting to be installed. Where did you find the tail light covers?

So....dealer had the Jeep today and replaced the front passenger TMPS sensor. About 15 minutes on the road and now the right rear TMPS went out. Since this problem is rotating around the tires (pun intended) and is now the 3rd to be affected, I'm guessing the issue is not the tire sensor(s) but rather something in the computer that reads monitors the sensors. Will give it a bit to see if it sorts itself out before bringing it back in.

Ditto! In the scheme of things, it is pretty minor so it doesn't bug me too much. We had a couple really nice days, swapped out the hard top for my Bestop Twill Supertop NX.

Unfortunately, it doesn't fit correctly. The side windows do not match up with the door jamb correctly so they flap in the wind and pull back letting in a breeze, rain.

I sent a video to Morris 4x4 and they worked with Bestop and are sending out two new windows. Really like the top overall so hopefully that is the issue and not that the window opening itself is incorrectly positioned. Every other part fits perfectly, seals well. Went back through the install instructions and on-line video several times and couldn't find any "user errors." Fortunately, my son's car is at home (he's in college) so I've been driving that until the new windows arrive. It has been raining every day now and the Jeep isn't drivable unless I throw the hard top back on which I'm not inclined to do. In the meantime, Turchman and I are building an ark as I think we'll need it soon. Will include two Jeeps, haha.

In the meantime, waiting patiently for Trek Armor seat covers to arrive...probably a few weeks yet (black/red inserts).

Can't wait for some sunny, warm top-down weather!

I'm running out of trees and the neighbors think I'm nuts, but the Ark is almost finished. Room for one more Jeep.
