Lights

Looking good, but you've gotta upgrade the headlights and fogs.

I have all the parts to convert the fogs to H3 yellow bulbs from Hella, but I'm still hunting for a fairly inexpensive 6000K headlight solution. There's simply no way I'm paying $400-$500 for the TruckLites...

Installed 1/2" TF Rear Spacers/guides to completely replace stock isolators, and JKS Rear Lower Coil Retainers. Hopefully, this means my rear springs won't ever fall out again and bounce down the trail like a slinky... we shall see.

Much, much cheaper. And their output is better too. I'm looking to do a group buy from them if I can find others interested.

Cool video.

Stripped her naked, drove her to a wrenching party, and blacked out my exhaust with some high-heat spray paint I brought along. I then lent a hand with a few of the other installs going on.

beer, fender cutting, LED light installs, exhaust painting, and a bunch of fellow Jeepers... not a bad way to spend a Friday night!

I even got to witness two women using a pocket knife and the light from a cell phone in the dark to cut and install switches in a Rugged Ridge a-pillar switch system... Epic!

Welcome to the blacked out muffler club. They look so much better that way.

Absolutely! And it took all of five minutes with a can and piece of cardboard. I may put another coat on today just to make it darker.

I asked in the other thread but it will probably get lost. How'd you get your lines so clean with the fender cut?

Thanks for the compliments guys, but I really can't take the credit for the excellent results. A jeeper that I met in one of the many Facebook jeep groups did the cutting for me. (He's one of the Wicked Jeeps guys, name is Billy)

He actually just used a hand grinder and eye-balled every cut based on how I told him I wanted it to look! He laid out the tape and then made the cuts faster than I've ever seen anyone do it!

I then went back over everything with a dremmel grinding attachment to smooth it out and slightly round off the sharp corners, and then added the door trim for the finished look.

The guy has done dozens of them (for free!) for our fellow jeepers, so I put it in his hands. Needless to say, I'm very stoked with the results!

I have a few more projects in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
