Due to unfortunate events including other motorist my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was hit and ultimately a total loss. After long battles with his insurance company, all worked out and check was wrote for a new Rubicon!
This time around I decided to go a tab bit more rugged and finally complete the mods I had planned for my previous Rubicon!
After the release of the color TANK, I was hooked and ordered on 9.18.14 without seeing the actual color in person! Just based off this photo shopped 2015 Jeep brochure!
Should be a great build. Just wanted to let you know, your white AEV hood lives on my 2015 JKuR! I will update my build thread this weekend for everyone. Thanks again. Anxious to see the 'tank' color!

As a slight thread drift, and I may have asked you elsewhere, but what insurance company are you with and how were they to deal with when it came to all the aftermarket parts?
I have AAA insurance and I would say everything went "okay". At first everything went almost too smooth, I removed all the parts that were undamaged and they picked up the Jeep with just the lift and rear bumper still installed.
About a week later they call me up, I'm expecting good news of a check :lmao: and a new representative of their "loss prevention" department tells me my Jeep is not totaled. At this point I express my feelings very strongly about how the Jeep has been in their possession who knows where and that their adjuster had called and emailed me confirming a total loss. He argues with me and says that I can decide what body shop I would like the car towed to.
I proceeded to strongly express my feelings and ask for a superior and someone "who knows what is going on". Two days later I received a phone call saying a check was issued and just required a few signatures. I'm thinking the email from the adjuster saved my case considering they were very against totaling a vehicle with that dollar value. The check arrived and all worked out and I was able to order my new JK.
Overall a bunch of phone calls and typical insurance craziness, I could only imagine if I was at fault.
RubiconRin, I am glad everything worked out in your favor with the unfortunate loss! Sometimes, a Jeep isn't just another Jeep! The Bright "Great White" Rubicon will live on in memory for sureunk:! Lookin forward to this build...Tank looks so sweet in a photo and sure its gonna be sick in person! My first Wrangler was a '94 YJ in Natural Green! Miss that rig! Best of luck to you and enjoy the modding!
Took mine exactly 32 days to arrive from order to delivery, seems production slowed down... I'm so tempted to buy your AEV bumper, but every time I see the hard rock bumper I think good those red tow hooks look on my red jeep with stumpy look!
On a side note what would you do first? Suspension then tires & wheels or tire & wheels , then suspension.
Hang in there, once it gets built its down hill from there. I'm looking forward to pics!
I know this already unfortunately haha. Having the Rhino Rack and James Baroud RTT on the '07 JKUR with 3.5" of lift and 35" tires often presents clearance issues. Especially living in the North East, it is something that requires frequent branch trimming.
Had a great time in Hancock, NY this weekend. Three days of trails and camping, now to wash it up and get re-packed for Overland Expo East! Anyone heading down feel free to stop by the OK4WD / James Baroud USA booth and say hi. :drinks:
