Smile Sharpie's Teufel Hunden Build

I picked up my 2014 Oscar Mike about 3 weeks ago. My plan for this rig is to keep in military style with Marine Corps accents to it. I'm calling it Teufel Hunden.

here it is the day I bought it.

then I picked up some stock Rubicon wheels and threw them on,

And then I got the 2.5" lift on this past weekend...

My hood decals should be here soon. I think it's looking good so far!! Any constructive criticism, suggestions, or things you think would look good will be heard!! I'm wanting to make this one stand out!

I love mine. They seem to be really nice quality. And I love the reflecting ones. I'm not into girly rhinestones, but I do like the sparkly decals!

Looking good!

+1 on the cool name. There's a slight grammar problem with the German though.

you are correct.....to be grammatically correct, it's Teufelshunde.

But, dating back to the Battle of Belleau Wood in 1918, it was Teufel Hunden...so I guess that's what I'll stick with!! besides, it sounds better!

I figured it was the WWII reference to the USMC; just a stickler for grammer.

Thanks for your service! Can't wait to see the rest of your build.

Very cool. Love the OM in billet. Billet is a great color.

What's the back story to the name?

Thanks WM!

as for the name, the story goes like this, back in 1918 in the Battle of Belleau Wood, the Germans supposedly dubbed the Marines with the name of Teufel Hunden, which means Devil Dog. The Germans said they found like dogs from hell.
