Just thought I'd post a few pictures of my switch-pro sp-8100 that I installed a few weeks ago. I can't say enough good things about the people at switch-pros best and friendliest customer service ever. I also had the chance to talk with them at the 2015 sema show just as friendly in person. Also the sp-8100 is very nice and pretty easy to install. I've since installed one more in a friends Jeep.
Here's a few pics of my rigid lights that the sp-8100 is controlling. I don't have the reverse light hooked up yet, I'll post pics of them once I get them installed.
It comes with a sheet of decals and there are a few that just say aux. But there is no way to turn off the back lighting individually. The a-pillar cover is from rugged ridge it was intended for 4 individual rockers switches, but it comes out just about right for the sp-8100.
Thanks I made a template and used a dremel it took me about an hour and a half to fit it, took a little material at a time so I didn't end up with a hole that was to big.
Great job on the install. Question, what did you do to secure it from being pushed in when pressing the buttons? I see the beads of what appears to be some type silicone/sealant on there.
I uesd 3m double sided tape that Is used for body moldings/emblems I stacked 3 pieces on each end where the mounting hole is in the switch, 3 pieces stacked also helps to make it level in the panel, then I used permatex black silicone adhesive all the around the edges and let it cure for a couple of days. The switch doesn't require much pressure to activate either.
Could we please get a write up for this?
Like step by step installation and exact materials for the A pillar.
This is the only thing that is holding me up from buying it. Your set up is exactly what I want mine to look like.
This looks fantastic. I'd love the same but don't know if I have the skill to make it look as good!
Wish they'd come out with a pre-molded unit for the Switch Pros in vertical.
