Great news, tabber! Glad to hear it sounds like a straightforward fix. (Coming from someone who knows about ball joints and bushings, anyway. LOL)

Definitely worth the trip!

good idea. he said it's fairly common... but it wouldn't hurt to have some urethane bushings and a snap ring or two as spare if it happens again.

i have synergy ball joints. just ordered the driver side replacement from poly performance - be here on wednesday next week.

Hey Bob!

Mike and I were watching this video tonight and all the rocks made me think of you and you saying you like rocks...

Not sure if you've seen it before, but thought I'd share it. It's a little long, but it is a pro shot video.

Time for hydro assist buddy. Rebuild/tap a box from a 07-08. Source cylinder/lines/tie rod clamp etc. Looking at $300-$400 DIY.
It's almost a must at your height/tire size and wheeling you do.

I'd agree. Ram steering makes road driving a hole new experience too. We have lots of jeeps on 37s that don't need it. All comes down to technique I guess

High jack... Narrows with a stubby bumper look awesome. The downfall with my narrow factory cut fenders is they don't stop anything from being thrown all over the rig. Even a simple sprinkler run of trashes the entire jeep. But, I love the look and it's worth the sacrifice. Sorry to jump in but I thought it's worth knowing.
