Going to start a build thread, mainly just to share what I have done with my jeep, and what I have learned about jeeps and jeeping, with anyone who would care to read it.
My ride:
2015 Sahara
Teraflex performance leveling kit
Fox evolution 2.0 shocks
Synergy 1.5" wheel spacers
Rugged ridge trailer hitch and harness
Rugged ridge CB antenna mount
Tusk offroad trail flag mount
3' Firestik 2
Cobra CB/PA
Speco PA speaker
Thanks ORW! I was re torquing my wheel spacers when I noticed this. Thought it was driving a little funny. Is it too much to ask that they actually torque down every bolt?
Well they spent an hour with it today and retorqued everything. This is my third time having something come loose that ORW put on my jeep!
PA speaker. I made the bracket in my garage. I was worried it would not be audible in this location, but I tested it out to 200 yards and it's loud and clear. This was in a quiet area, but still it works.
This is the trail flag mount attached to the Rugged ridge CB bracket. In case anyone was wondering what it looks like. I can put any trail flag in this, in a matter of seconds...
Agreed. But I am trying to prioritize the budget (of course). Looks wise the duratracs would make a huge impact, but performance wise I think these stock Tires do OK.
I'm very happy with them. Quality and fit wise they are 10/10. The harness that came with them is very high quality, much better than what I got with my truck-lites.
Light out put wise, 8/10. Brighter than stock, not quite as smooth of a beam as the truck-lites.
Looks wise, also 8/10. They actually look pretty cool. I think the "q" kind of distracts from how good they look, and they just don't have the eye catching looks of the TL or the Speakers.
usnsti,
the jeep looks nice. Totally different look now.
How do you like the new tires? Did you see a drop in mileage / performance?
In your first post, you have the wheel spacers already installed. Can I ask if this was only a matter of looks for you, or because you planned to install 33inch tires?
Wheel spacers were for looks only. I took them off, and plan to sell them now. The jeep still accelerates, but it is a little bit slower due to the bigger tires. I haven't really driven it enough to notice a change in MPG.
