P.S. Needs a rear bumper

Hopefully the rear bumper will happen near or after Christmas. Right now I plan to go with ACE engineering. This could change any day though.

Been following your thread, thinking about the same lift and wheels/tires for my wifes 2014 JKUR
how did the wheels/tires affect your MPG as well how is your ride now compared to stock?

I dropped right at 1.5 mpg when I put on my heavier wheels and tires. I also put on a new bumper and rock rails about the same time so I can't really give you exact numbers. My vehicle rides much better than it did stock with these rancho 9000 shocks and the rancho drop brackets. The steering is much tighter.

How did it ride with just the leveling kit? did you have any clearance problems? we plan to wheel ours and i just don't want to tear up the nice painted fenders!

I'm also for GA, and sir that's an excellent idea! Lol. If only it was allowed.

It was a little stiff with the leveling kit but it rode pretty good. Honestly you are probably going to scrub your fenders if you wheel no matter what. Even with the 3" lift I still scrub some in the rear if my front sway bar is disconnected.

Sorry for the late reply…They are mounted on top of a fairlead light mount that I purchased from quadratic. You can view it Here.

I have done the Poison Spyder hood louver. It's not that bad. If you want to drive up to Dahlonega, I will help you. I used a fine tooth metal cutting blade on a jig saw. It took me about 3 1/2 hours

You can leave the jkini installed with the full roof on. You cannot leave the full length spiderwebshade on and install the freedom panels. I ran into that problem last night as I took my ORH top off and put my hard top back on.

Thanks for the offer. I have a few friends who are going to help me out whenever we can all get together. I need to get some touch up paint from the dealership before I decide to do it. I was up your way this past weekend hunting with some friends in Dawsonville.

Looks amazing Tyler. Im looking to get new new tires For my 09 unlimited jk. Weekend beaches/light offroad and mall crawler commuter during the week.

The look you have is what I want.
You originally ran 33's with no lift but a leveling kit correct?

Yes, until I went off road. If you do anything with trenches/big ruts...you will scrape in the back.

New bumper and tube doors

After much research and debate, I finally settled on the rugged ridge XHD rear bumper WITHOUT tire carrier. I mostly did this because I am OCD about things matching and I have the rugged ridge XHD front bumper. Also, I got a killer deal on the bumper so I could not pass it up. I really thought I wanted the JCR Crusader or the ACE rear bumper (Both are extremely nice) but I couldn't pass this deal up. I think it turned out pretty good and definitely adds to my build. I have heard awful things about the tire carrier so I am definitely not going that route. I will most likely get the Teraflex tire carrier or the Or-fab tire carrier with rotopax.

I also got some Ranch tube doors and I went ahead and installed them so I could install the rubber bumpers that keep the doors from rattling. The doors seem to be top notch quality. I chose rancho doors because I can add spiderwebshade skins to them in the future.

Next Sunday I will attempt to install the Poison Spyder hood louver that I have had in my garage for months now.

Here are a few pics that I snapped of the bumper and the doors.
