White Mamba Build (Slow and Steady)

I thought I'd go ahead and post some pictures of what I've done to my 2010 Wrangler so far, I bought it March 27, 2013. I haven't done a whole lot yet and it's going to be a while before I can get it to where I want it (hence the slow and steady build name). Anyways, enjoy!

About a month later i bought cleared fender marker lights, cleared turn signal lights, and Drake black billet grille inserts. I also removed the "Wrangler" and "Sport" decals from the side of the Jeep:

The "biggest" mod I've done so far was install a new front bumper. The stock bumper was a pain in the butt, but all in all, it was a fun experience and I really enjoy the look of the new steel bumper.

Olympic 4x4 Products Rock Bumper, Olympic 4x4 Products D-Ring Mounts, Smittybilt black D-Rings, and Daystar black d-ring washers:

While installing the rock bumper, I broke one of the fog light mounts so the light was wiggling around. This was bugging the crap out of me so I bought the Olympic 4x4 Products Light Pods. I think they give the bumper a bit of a rugged look and am pleased with this purchase. Very simple install, I had to drill holes to bolt the pods up, but it took all of about an hour total:

Olympic also sells a steel frame cover to match the bumper and replace the OEM plastic cover. I'm thinking of buying that in the future to dress up the look a little bit, but for now I think it's fine.

Installed the Olympic 4x4 Products front bumper frame cover; it looks much better than the OEM plastic one and cleans up the look of Jeep. Install took all of about an hour with completely removing the bumper and then re-installing it. Anyways; here it is:

Installed the Smittybilt SRC rear bumper tonight. I really like how this thing looks and it is very solid. It makes me wish I would've installed a Smittybilt front bumper as well:

Your Jeep is looking great! very clean.
I'm curious about those frame cover. Do you have pics of the overall front shot? Hard to get a feel of how the cover looks that close. Love to see how the cover looks, seeing the whole jeep.

Today i finally removed all carpet for good and hosed out the interior. I really like the look and would eventually like to bedline the interior.

Ill add some pics later

That's the first time I've seen those grab bars! They look killer! (As does the whole rig ) I'm not a huge fan of the strap varieties at all. Ended up removing all four that mine had when I took ownership.
Are these ones fairly comfortable to use? The angle looks a little unnatural for actual use but I really like the look.

Haven't updated this for a bit. I no longer have carpet in the jeep; I pulled it all out and really like the look and ease of cleaning the interior out. I'll eventually have it bedlined.

Just ordered the Barricade Trailforce HD front bumper too. I'm kind of over the Olympic bumper I have and am looking for something with an option to mount a winch and something more heavy duty. I'll post some pics when I get it and have it installed!

Okay, as promised (in case anyone was actually looking forward to it haha) here is an update on a few things I've done over the last couple months:

Ditched the Olympic Products bumper and accessories (sold it to a forum member for a low price) for the Barricade Trailforce HD bumper. Love it!
I also finally removed the Jeep emblem from the grill.

I also ordered the 2.5' AFE Hi-Tuck Machforce XP Cat-Back Exhaust system and had it installed. No lie, it is very "hi-tucked" and sounds pretty mean. I had Midas do the install for me at a reasonable price.

For Valentine's Day my wife ordered me the Quadratec Tailgate Storage shelf with ammo box. Very simple install and very solid piece. It holds a 6 pack of beer perfectly hahaha

After removing my carpet, I noticed my tow straps and tools were getting wet whenever I had water leak into the rear storage cubby. I ordered the Rugged Ridge Storage Liner to help keep my straps, d-rings, gloves, shovel, and my other random crap dry.

Last summer after I installed the Smittybilt Rear Bumper, the spare tire rubbed and was mounted at an angle. To solve that issue, I ordered the Teraflex Spare Tire Relocation Bracket. It was very easy to install and is a really solid piece. It raised the spare about 1.5' and it doesn't block the third brake light.

The AFE exhaust had some leaks at the joints, so I went back and had it all welded for a perfect seal.

Ordered the Rancho 5000x shocks. Installed the rear shocks last Sunday and then the front shocks last night. Rears were super easy to install, fronts not so much, but regardless, I got the job done. I really like how tight my suspension feels now. The shocks definitely absorb bumps and recover much better than the stock absorber. So far, I haven't noticed the ridiculous side to side rocking when going slow over large bumps, such as a curb, that the factory shocks have. Overall, I am very pleased with these shocks. 200 bucks shipped from Jegs and a 56 dollar rebate on the way. What a deal. Anyways...here are some pictures:
