1997 Flame Red Jeep build

I rode in my friends CJ5 for the first time about a year ago. I knew I wanted a jeep for my first car. I didn't want a CJ because I wanted to have air conditioning and a newer jeep than that. I began to search Craigslist and eBay everyday. I found my jeep on Craigslist and it was my mechanics brothers jeep. It was a 1997 jeep tj sport manual with 200000 miles on it. It was 5197 dollars for me to buy it. I didn't really research before I bought it but I thought it was a good deal so I bought it right away. This is how it looked when I got it

The first thing my dad wanted me to do to my new jeep was powder coat the stock rims.

After the fog lights. I was at best buy with my dad and he decided it was time to upgrade my sound system. I forgot the sizes but I have Polk speakers in the dash , kicker in the sound bar and 2 kicker 10s in a probox jeep jammer in the back. I have a kicker 1000 watt amp powering them.

Tonight I ordered a Zone 4.25 combo lift with nitro shocks. I can't wait to get it put on. My suspension is stock and after 220000 miles I think it had overstayed its welcome.

Looks good! I have the same color, however the body on yours is in much better shape than mine!

My radiator cracked two days ago so I replaced it. Also my engine was rebuilt about 4 months ago because one of my cylinders was misfiring.

Dropped my jeep off today because it's hot and the air hasn't been working in a while so I decided today was the day to get it fixed. Also I'm going to get my tires rebalanced and rotated.
