1998 TJ Kylar Build

Hello, I'm 18, and I just bought my 1998 TJ a few days ago as it sits, named it Kylar. And the JK next to it is a 2014 Sport named Laila and belongs to my girlfriend. Over the next weeks, months, years, we'll be modding both of them, but this thread is focused on Kylar.

Thank you, Kylar has his flaws, but they're all minor ones and I'll be fixing them all pretty soon, and all will be posted. But that's true that he's definitely in great shape.

As for the house, this is actually in the area between flint and Detroit in Michigan. My girlfriend and I are moving to Pennsylvania for college in a few days, that's why I put that in my account info.

Next on my list to do is fixing these rust spots. For now I'll do a temporary fix until I have more money to do the full repair.

As for the tail lights, I put them on the jeep, they look great and everything works, so I will be posting an updated photo of that later

Good lookin jeeps, personally though I'd loose the CJ style fender flares. But it's your jeep!

Jeep is looking good already. A few minor things, but working on it makes it truly yours. GF's Jeep is nice too! Good luck with the build!

Thanks man, and yep, the minor things are no issue, I could just leave them and it'd be fine, but I wouldn't feel good about that. So I made good progress on rust spots, found two more that we're under the hood but they're very minor surface rust, I'll take care of that this week. We're moving to our new apartment today so that'll be my focus the next few days. The only real issue is cylinder misfires on 1 and 2, which is probably an east fix by replacing the fuel lines. The car has been sitting since November last year when I bought it. I'll take it in so that pros can run tests on it and figure out what's up
