Most recent pic with newish tires on. Some used 31" tires I bought from a friend for $50, and they still have some life in them to hold me over till I get 33s and a lift.

After her first Uwharrie experience she held up nicely and nothing broke handled the moderate trails nicely. Next trip ill have 33s and a few more upgrades so I should be able to do some harder trails. Here's a pic of the aftermath!

I know you put a new engine in it, but how many miles were on the old one when you stole it? We got my stock se 04 in 2010 for $10k cash with 24k on the clock and we thought that was a steal. 3 years later and its just about to tip 50k. Also, what kinda mileage you getting from that new 4banger?

It had 90k miles on it when I picked it up and I get about 19 mpg on the hwy but on the trails it has to work extra hard and I burned thru a tank faster than my buddy with 4.0l killed half a tank and we were on the same trails inline.

Need help!!! I have been experiencing d the dreaded Death Wobble!! After I go past 45 mph on these shitty North Carolina roads it happens! I've replaced the sway bar connects to the quick connects and that seemed to heal it until I drove to fla for the Fourth of July. I replace the tires with my buddy's old ones which still have 50% tread and still DW happens. I've went underneath and checked all the ball joints and they seem fine and nothing's loose while I have someone turning the wheel. The control arm bushings appear to be a little worn could this be the problem cause I was planning on ordering a long arm kit

Have your tires checked. I had a belt broke in one of my tires on a Cherokee I had and it did the same thing. May be the reason your buddy had them.

He changed the tires, and it was still happening.

The tires my buddy had we're balanced and checked out just fine. Looks like I'm just gonna replace everything, ( rustys tie rod conversion, new ball joints, and rough country's long arm kit) should have it all in 3 weeks! Gotta wait for the money tree to produce some $$

Did you try sway bar links? I know when mine were loose it would wobble at highway speed and I was on 31s

Got the long arm upgrade installed finally. I'd say the 2.5" lift flexes quite well. The handling of this is impressive so far, completely changed the drivability of it and the DW seems to have been taken care of

You build the long arm? Or was this a kit?

Almost all the bushings on the stock control arms were bad, nearly a 1/4" of play in all of them so I think that had a lot to do with the DW. Found out the track bar is needing an upgrade too. The long arm was a kit I ordered from rough country.
