sorry bro ive already put too much into it to sell it now, i have a ups delivery guy who offers me money every time i see him last time he offered $2500, I still turn him down. i think it would take an act of god to get me to let off this jeep. plus i dont have to pay a car payment every month on it either which i found to be quite nice since the last car i bought without a payment was an 86 300zx in 2000 i stole for $300. been making payments on cars for 10yrs now, never again!!

So i have had this jeep for about 6 months now so i have a lot to catch up on here. Sorry it took soo long. here is a quickie update so we are all on the same page.

I got the jeep at such a good deal cause some people are just dumb when it comes to mechanics. The guy(thats right GUY) i bought it from said it couldnt drive in reverse, so i thought it was a tranny problem, so i investigate. within 2mn looking under it, i see the rear diff bearing has gone bad so i bought it for $600 and drove it home. bought new bearings $50, fixed it no problem. runs great a/c works. Now the guy sold the hardtop to a friend of his so the only problem is it doesnt have a top. Rampage frameless top $350 Done! Didnt like the color red on it so i painted it metallic black $250. looked in the radiator only to see what looks like mud, replaced radiator and installed electric fan $225, done!

i was going to use my savings for a lift and 33's but i had to buy a new engine. and it turns out the 2.5l is more expensive than a 4.0l altho installing it seems to bring the cost up to a number im not cool with. so i bought a new remanu long block2.5l with a 7 year warranty. I like warranties!

That's what I figured. I bet you won't do it again haha. I've done a lot of regretful things while working on cars and trucks. If you don't make mistakes from time to time you're not working on it. I wonder why the system had mud in it? After all is said and done I think you're still coming out on top. I wish I could find a deal like you did. It's definitely coming along and I like the dark interior much better :thumb:
