hello all! back on the forum after being off for a year or so, back with a new jeep sold the old 89 YJ that i did a ton to 5.3L/NV4500/NP241c/8.8/soa ect.

just picked me up a 1999 TJ 4.0 5 speed, no lift pretty much factory. Got a steal on it! kid thought it was a 4 cylinder (didnt know anything about anything pretty much) It does have syncro problems though, grinds into third and wont downshift 3-2nd
so, unsure on mods yet but a general idea,
want a jeep still enjoyable to drive daily, but capable off road
keep 4.0 for now, 5.7-6.0 later on after it craps out, or i get bored
rebuild/replace ax15 trans
high clearance fenders
smaller lift 3-3.5?

new to the TJ world, so any suggestions to best parts to use are more than welcome! (im spending alot of time searching on my own anyway)
