Hello everyone! I bought a jeep a few months ago, and figured that I should join this community.

This will be my build thread, and of course- i will be updating it regularly with information regarding my jeep.

My vehicle is a 2000 TJ Wrangler, with about 130,000 miles on it.

Please feel free to post and comment if you'd like. Thank you for checking out my build!

Sure thing, I'll get some pictures ASAP.

My plans are to run 35" tires for now. Hopefully build this jeep correctly. I'm in the process of changing the axles and undercoating the frame with some 3M professional anti-rust rubberized paint.

I'm currently running 33's and a few modifications I need to change.

Bump & Update:

It's been a while since i last posted something, anyways- i've broken down the car up to the frame, some of the bolts were so rusty from the previous owner that i had to go get a welder and weld a nut onto the heads of them to get them out. Torx bolts are horrible in my opinion. Why would Jeep use them?

Anyways, the Jeep has been sanded, lots of rust- and lots of parts taken off. Hopefully the repaint will look good once i'm done prepping and painting.

I look forward to updating this thread with some pictures for you all.

More pictures will be coming soon. Having some trouble with my camera at the moment. Also- the aluminum will be added slowly. So far I have purchased an aluminum tailgate, and the modification that will be done to this tailgate will be interesting. Stay tuned for an update in the near future ;)

Nice Build so far!!! Itching to see more pics of it!!

Thank you! Pictures coming soon :)

I've seen to many guys on a budget buy rough country and then have to replace it with something better because of premature wear and spring sag.i know a couple guys that run rubicon express and it rides nice and seems to last.some issues with flex joints getting a little clunky but that's probably from lack of maintenance.lol..I've held off lifting mine because I can't afford a quality lift.i could afford a rough country but I think it's a waste.id rather do it once with quality parts..
Rough country is decent in my opinion. I haven't had much problems with it, and the lift has been on since before i even owned the vehicle. The only replacements were the shocks. Good luck on your purchase! That's a great mindset my friend.

Only problems I had with my RC trackbar was the heim joint in the axle mount, replaced it with ruffstuff chromoly heim and it stopped my death wobble. Metalcloaks trackbar is the best bang for your buck, my friend has one on his jeep and this thing is massive compared to my RC trackbar. Zinc plated to so I won't rust

Minor update: Did some work on the body of the car.

Getting the Poison Spyder hood louder cuts out was pretty simple. About three grinder wheels shattered and shot directly at my face. Luckily I was wearing a grinding helmet and I wasn't harmed. Always wear protection folks.

Small update for you guys:

I have a few goodies that I've bought for the build. Just some small things I figured I should include.

Items in the picture are:
5 wheel locks from McGard
1 wheel lock key pouch
2 Eagle Eye reverse LEDS
And 1 Crown Automotive Speedo gear.

There's going to be plenty more to come. Stay tuned for updates.

subscribed. excellent work, love the color.
Thank you!

I like that color a lot! What did you use to bed-line the inside? I want to do that this summer, but can't decide how I want the texture to be.
I used Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating. It's a little more liquefied than other brands. If I were in your shoes, I would go with Line-X.

Also, thank you!
