I bought new windshield sippers today. I just finished painting them... Guess... Yup white.

There they are black. I will have pictures of them in the morning on the jeep. I also painted the license plate holder white.

They were the hardest to paint. I had little time so I kinda rushed. They look good from afar but up close I see how bad it looks. Then again they were $10 for both so oh well.

I say you tape off the hood and paint the raised part of the hood white as the finishing touch and be done with it there! It would look so good like that!!!!

The whole hood, or just the raised portion?

I was thinking about it and I will go with just the raised portion.only because I don't want it to get scratched and that spot has the least scratches. Thanks.

Nice. I want to get those tires. However money is an issue and I am having trouble fining them used.

Just to keep everyone up to date I am ripping apart the inside tomorrow to redo it. I will have pictures at the end of the project. I will hopefully finish stage 2 by the end of the week!!!

Ok so I started to tear apart the inside of my jeep. It is super hard. Every screw is a new challenge. I have all the panels off except the main dash piece. Reason being is the airbag panel is impossible to get off. I will probably end up cutting it off. Then bolting it back on. Besides that the carpet is out in on the passenger's side and the rear. I just finally got the back seat out. No I have to remove the passenger seat. Which is another challenge because it doesn't tumble forward. Oh and it is 95 degrees out side.

Oh and I am glad I am doing this because there is about 11 years of rust in some area.

don't do the whole hood. the hood latches and the raised portion, yes. but the whole hood would look like balls.

Contrary to popular belief there is a way to take out the passenger airbag. There is a thread somewhere around here that you could probably easily search and find that shows how to take it out without having to cut it up. If you can't find it here also try JF as I'm sure they will also have a write up about it.

I'm sure you already know this but don't forget to unplug your battery and waiting ~2 or 3 minutes before messing with the airbag.

I don't wish to remove the airbag. I simply want to remove the panel!! But it doesn't matter to me if I cut it!!!

Good. I am hoping this week to finish a light bar that I am starting tomorrow. I plan on tapping into one of the screws holding the windshield in place. I want to put 6 6x9 lights in the bar. Bed line it.

Tomorrow is the day I am starting my light bar build. I have so far bought conduit at home depot and two joints for $10. I also bought 4 off road lights at Walmart $50. Gonna buy 4 more tomorrow and wire them up. So total 8 lights one windshield light bar and a badass looking jeep. I will have pictures and how I am gonna wire it tomorrow when I finish.

Here is the jeep today...

to keep your white walls white. Use Westleys Bleach White spray, works great!!! I've had many white wall tires for years and with this stuff they were always white. use it when you wash your jeep.
