Ended up taking it to a shop because it was cheaper than I thought. They were gonna do Yukon but got cheaper from somewhere in Minnesota. I guess I didn't even think about asking what brand he was getting. Quoted me at $1600 and then thought he could get it down to $1300 from the place in Minnesota but after all the little things and new bearings and all that good stuff the price came to $1517. If my brother and I did it instead we probably could've saved $500 but we both work different hours so wouldve taken probably a few weekends. He's 8-5:30 and I'm 2-10:30. I'll stop by and ask what gears he went with when I have a day off

Thats a great price for having a shop do it for you. All the places around me would have charged well over $2000

May I ask what shop? I'm in South Dakota too and that's a great price, it would Probly even be worth the drive

I didn't buy it because of overheating issues. I bought it mainly for looks and some what for venting. Before I had to wait a while to open up the hood because it gets so hot and didn't feel too good on the fingers but you can actually see and feel a huge amount of heat come out of every vent on the hood louver so it does its job. Glad I did it. For people who actually had overheating problems it solved their problems.

Is your temp gage any lower?

It never went over the 210° mark. I think it was always a little under it if I remember right. I haven't drove it for more than 7 mins at a time since I put it on so once I drive it for a longer period of time I'll check it to see if it looks cooler than what it used to. like I said though I never had overheating issues so it should still stay at normal operating temp. I did for sure notice the engine bay cools down way quicker.

I'm with you though seems like it gets really hot under the hood especially in the summer. May be something I look into. Thanks.

I have it all taped up ready to sand and paint the spyder on it. Just gotta order more diff fluid. I'm 99% sure it fits but I have the zone 4.25" lift, metalcloak adjustable trac bar, and stock steering. I'm going camping tomorrow till monday so I won't have it bolted on until next week

Here's the diff cover painted and clear coated. Not perfect lines but looks really good for something going under the jeep

Like that Prom pic. Undeniable proof that a guy, with even your looks, can get a good looking girl if he has a nice jeep.

Just kidding, nice jeep. You did a good job with the upgrades

Thanks! Bought the bike when it was all stock too except for the exhaust. Haven't done any mods to it within a few years though
