I guess it's just a been there done that type of thing LOL. I think a lot of us when we're in our 20s etc. start out with sport bikes, but they just get too uncomfortable. It's supposed to be fun. I've had my share of sport bikes gixxer 750, r1 and a cbr too, but not my thing anymore. Way too uncomfortable for long rides, and after all, those are the rides you want. You'll see. When I had my bikes it was the same color scheme as you though silver and black, or blue and black. The only thing that I miss is how my girl looked on the back of it! :-)

Yeah I know the time will come where I'll have to get a Harley or victory. But as of now hopefully I'll still be comfortable on it for another 10 years. I'm only 19 years young!

Headlights

I might pull the trigger and buy some truck-lite headlights tomorrow. 4wd.com has them for $370 right now. What do you guys think?

You'll love them!! They are a huge upgrade over stock. One of my best upgrades yet tbh. But if you live in a snowy state maybe try and get the heated ones. They don't get as hot because of the LED bulb to melt the snow away that sticks to them. You'll have to get out and scrap the slushy ice of them whenever they get completely covered. You could also rain-x them which is what I have gone to for them in the winter.

Yeah I live in south dakota, winters get awful some years. I just don't know if it's work the extra 200 bucks or whatever it is. Do the new cars with those led headlights have heaters? Always wondered that

If you don't mind putting rain-x on whenever you remember too they will be perfect! I put some on whenever I wash my jeep in the winter time. It's become part of a routine now.

Very Nice. Mine is about the same but I only have 2.5" lift. The 33s I just put on will probably rub but I plan to do a 1-1.25" BL and then put a 3" Suspension lift on it. Here's mine as it sits now.

I'm going to wait on the headlights for a few months. However, I sold my JL audio W7. I'm going to wire the jeep up for a new sub, plus wire in the 10 farad Rockford battery capacitor under the rear seat. I'm going to amazon prime a rockford p300-12, which will be in the trunk facing me. It fits perfect facing the tailgate, but I don't think that will sound nice with no top on. It fits facing me, if the sub is in the middle. It's a hatchback style box, which kind of sucks because i needed the hatch to go the other way. But it fits. I don't want this to be shaking the whole jeep, but I do want to be able to hear it with the top off. It was the hardest decision between the 10" or the 12" but I'd rather be safe than sorry. This is not going to be the final setup. If the subwoofer still stuck without the top on, I will build a box that goes in the rear seat. If it does sound good, I'll probably keep it until I get bored and build the rear seat box.

Here's how close of a fit it is. This is my friends 12". Facing the tailgate, it fits perfectly to the left, right, or middle. Facing me, it only fits in the middle. I just want to be sure I can still hear it good without the top.

Damn. A sub with a soft top. Thats sweet! I never figured it was worth loosing the storage space for a sub box. Good luck.

That why it has to be facing me haha, need the waves to go towards me as much as possible with no top. I'm going to build an instatrunk that just covers the top so the pressure waves stay in the jeep more and have nowhere to go except for the front of the jeep, and for security. But that's short term goal. Long term goal will be 1 or 2 10" subs in the rear seat so I get my space back haha. Those pics I posted are with my friends 12", the 10"'s box is about 2" smaller all around. Should fit alot better facing towards the front

You'll have to google image "wrangler tj sub in rear seat". There's some clean looking setups. I'll end up doing it sometime within 2 years.

I like the look of the sub in the rear seat. That is a pretty clean setup.

Today I wired up the battery capacitor and have all wires routed. can't see a wire anywhere which is nice. When the sub gets here Tuesday, all I have to do is put the fuse in the power wire and plug everything into the sub box, shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. I'll post pictures Tuesday whenever it gets here.

Here's the sub! This thing slams, only $160, may have been one of the best purchases for the jeep. Not even broken in, or tuned the best and my bass knob is not even half ways up. No bass boost either. No rattles in the jeep or out, except the tailgate lock kind of has a small rattle, not noticable unless you put your ear by it. Sounds very clean and thumps all of the seats. I'm glad I went with the 10", keeps up very fast and does not miss a note with hardcore music like The Amity Affliction. Also sounds very clean and loud with every other type of music. Very happy with it.

It is a Rockford p300-10 from sonicelectronix.com. I'll eventually go back to JL audio and get a JL shallow mount 10" to put in my rear seat, but this rockford sounds really nice, you'll love it!

A friend and I put nice quality 20% tint film over my blinkers and tail lights, the side markers still light up in the same amber color and did not turn purple-red like spray on tint would do. I'll take more pics in the day later on. Really happy with the outcome, all lights light up near the same as before without any color change at all

Changed my oil and rotated tires a couple days ago. Today I ordered a pair of headlights from HIDprojectors.com. They were $100 bucks off so i figured why not. I got the Base Black Package with no devil eyes or halos. http://headlightupgrade.com/collecti...-sold-in-pairs

Here's the HIDs installed. Love them. Aiming them straight was a pain in the ass, the driver side headlight still needs to be turned 1cm to straighten out but it's not even noticeable so I'm leaving it.
