My spray on Tint has been on mine for over a year and it had not turned purple. The nightshades will but not the rustoleum.

My friend is getting pretty good at spraying the black and clear mix, he also just got a nice paint gun for chirstmas so we're going to redo all the lights sometime, hopefully before I go back to college.

Also, if you spray clear over that rustoleum, it will make it look perfect if it doesn't already

I'll look into doing the clear over it. Mine looks pretty good though.

These headlights are amazing, clean cut off line and very bright down the road. And here's a pic I took earlier today.

Thanks! Working on trying to find a hard top now, having no luck. Next more poison spyder armor, either high-line fenders or rock sliders.

I've been hunting for rock rails for a while now. That's the issue with the LJ. I'm going to probably lift with spacers and I need all new shocks either rubicon express or teraflex this summer. Can't wait to see your progression.

Looks really nice! I see a lot of people go with Rubicon express lifts on here and they all have good things to say about it. You could also look into the metalcloak over line or arched system, you can fit 35s with no lift, 33s comfortably. Type in on Google "metalcloak stock 35s wranglerforum", some guy with an LJ did it for a while before adding a lift. Try to find the build, the look of it makes me jealous.

LJ - NO lift / MetalCloak and 35" tires

I have a really nice bed liner on it. Got railed on the price though. The bumper, power steering skid, and the extra skid they sent me by accident all for like $300 or $350. Wish I would've monstalined it, but the bedliner on mine is equivalent to linex. Hasn't faded, and it's tough as nails.

It's called xtreme line. I mentioned it in the 1st page of my build I think. But I just wish I would've monstalined it for way cheaper, would've been a bit of work to get into all the corners and what not though.

Tomorrow is going to be a good day for the jeep. I took off the tint film off of all the lights and had them sprayed with a black/clear mix, from the same friend, and they turned out really good. Much better. Putting all of the blinkers/ tail lights on tomorrow, then I am picking up a hard top in the afternoon!

Here's the hard top! One of the corners is a little chipped, must've been dropped from an inch or 2 off the ground. Other than that, it's in perfect condition. I'm gonna use some epoxy to strengthen up a piece of fiberglass in that corner that is almost falling off. Then before I paint it this summer, I will fill in the rest of the chip. Where it indents in on the duct tape is where the piece of fiberglass is falling off. I put the tape on so it wouldn't fall off on the drive.

Put epoxy on that crumpled up corner, now it's hard as a rock. Gonna sand down excess epoxy and paint it until summer. Then I will fix that and any other chips with fiberglass, then monstaline it.

Couple updates. I found a great deal on poison spyder full steel corner guards with the 3" flare, already raptor lined in great condition and talked him down to $400.
Also got a pair of poison spyder rock sliders for my birthday, but my birthday isn't till April 12th so I can't monstaliner them until April 15th when I come home for the weekend. Ill try to install them that weekend too. I already ordered the rubber liners for them to protect my paint.
I'm trying to figure out when I can install the corner guards so I'll post up the results when I install them!

Here's the rock sliders and corners, I quickly spray painted the sliders for now and am going to bedline them sometime within the month. The corners are dirty so doesn't look too good with the freshly spray painted sliders

Love the jeep! I'm a broke college student who just picked up a TJ this past winter as well! I'm assuming you have the 4.0?

Sounds good, I think I'll start putting it together whenever it comes in the mail. Gonna be another parking lot job so that's not gonna be too fun. I'll post up the results when I'm done.

Half done, having a hard time trying to fish the wires down through the tub so I'll try to finish it Thursday or this weekend.

I think I'm going to have to delay bedlining until schools out in a month. Too much going on with school beings the end of the semester. So this weekend I will finish wiring the whole license plate led kit and bolt on the license plate.
