Echo2's 97 Sahara Project...

Picked this up in October....

97 Sahara
automatic
4.0
4" SkyJacker lift
American Racing aluminum rims
33 x 12.50 R15

First Wrangler for me.....I had borrowed on from a friend for a couple weeks. It was fin but a bit springy 93 or 94. You could maneuver it easily but the ride was crap. Decided to get one and after research, it sounded like the TJs would have a better ride. Found it on CL for $7K.....after haggling....$5k....

Trying to choose between covering with aluminum or Kydex......If I do aluminum....I'll probably spray it with bed liner.

Ammo cansare always cool, you gonna keep the Mk19 nomenclature on them or respray. I had mine just bolted to the floor of my Sammy.

Definitely as is.....I was stoked to get them in as good of shape as they are.

If they were rough....I have about 3 gallons of MilSpec OD.......just in case.

nice Jeep,

on a side note, the factory jack will work with up to 37'' tires. They designed the jacking points to be on the axles. Google it.... If you use the Hi lift to change tires, be careful.

I am also digging your jerry can holders, you have pics of the mounts?
