Front bumper license plate install (Re-post from Builders forum)

So I'm getting this bumper from Trail-Gear, and I'm not sure where to put the front plate. I was thinking of attaching it to the light tab holes on the top of the hoop, but I don't think I want it there because it would act like a sail, and look ridiculous.

Is there any reason why I can't mount it directly to the plate where it says Jeep?

Please, I would love to hear suggestions for this.

Well I dont run a front plate but if I had to with that setup I would either attach it to the bottom of the bumper and roll it under or attach it to the grille via wire or thick zip ties.

I have a Pro Comp bumper... I just drilled a couple holes for the top of the plate and mounted it right on the lower front a little off-center toward the passenger side with the bottom of the plate hanging lower than the bottom of the bumper and used self-tapping screws to hold it on. If you do that, I'd recommend removing it before off-roading or you'll be replacing it pretty quickly.
