i have a hand built aluminum oil pan that might work for that jeep/motor.
also, if i was you i would swap out the timing cover for a dodge truck cover. that way all the accesories are munted "high" and thr is no frame issues.

a/c is mounted on drivers side near front of head and alt is mounted pass. side near the front of that head.

exhaust? you should be able to get away with srt8 jeep manifolds also. i have a set of them laying around if pics are needed.

all the 5.7 parts are direct change over btw..

Problem #1. Alternator will not fit here, it dosn't have clearance against the frame. (working on solving this)




Problem #2. The oil pan sits super low on this motor. There is clearance but new bumpstops may have to be made or I'm wondering if the 5.7 oil pan will fit, it requires less clearance.





The conclusion has been reached so far that unless your rig is lifted high up, there most likely wont be enough clearance for the oil pan since it sits so low.
You need to put a Notch in the frame, Cut out an aera for alt clearance then flip it over and weld it back in therby createing a "notch" so that the ALT will clear, Also you'll need a new oil pan from a 6.1 that was installed in a truck thay have the sump in the rear the car Hemi has the sump in the front check out Jeep forum.com there is a 6.1 being installed in a LJ wrangler and I'm getting ready to do mine at the end of this month
