The worst thing about this tri link is the 5.5" bumpstop extension it takes to fit it in there. The joints are a maintenance nightmare and handling kinda stinks.

Bye bye!

Hello currie jj's and exhaust that will no longer get smashed.

On to the track bar... I prefer stock bars, when there is balanced travel, the bushings far outlast a heim joint and poly bushing.

I used the usual ford towers on this one since the lift height didnt need 11" tall towers.

Rotated lower spring perches to match the stops and keep the buckets parallel @ full compression.

Before

After

A 1/4" extra bumpstop was needed so they got located to land fully articulated.

Front shock towers.
went from 10" travel to 12" travel up front

A side note: the rear shocks were set with 4" uptravel, as a stock jeep has, and were 8.75" travel shocks. Lol. I wish i had me a bolt on"long arm tri-link" for all that extra "flex" they advertise...

Damn Dave! Way more impressive actually seeing the progression in pics.

I remember being scared of somebody cutting up my rig in the past. Now I couldn't see it any other way! Bolt on stuff is a start "I guess" but it'll never help with performance.

Thanks again Dave. Have nick text me some numbers on front end work or you can PM me.

The middle pic above shows the main bar that came factory. If you look closely they barely tack welded it together:jawdrop:

Horrible to say the least. We're gonna clean that up making it a proper weld all away around. Can't wait till it's done but there's tons more to do.

Well obviously since everything was torn out I had to spray the inside. No I didn't do any of the high end roll or spray ins. I used the white trash Rustoleum spray cans. About 6 cans laid on pretty thick. Will see how it holds. If I don't like it I'll move forward.

And a before and after of cage. Now we'll start putting it all back together this week. We will be adding a spreader bar and 2 header bars for rear. Just waiting for a bender to finish up. And Dave will now be making the frame tie ins himself.

Well it's in! Didn't take pics of that process. Took 7 hours to put it all back together with 2 of us working. Still need to do rear cage and frame tie in. Had to modify the heaters on each side to get it between the bottom pillars. Took out the speaker bar. (never listen to music in my jeep)

The bed spray liner is crap don't buy it. I'll be touching that up.

Next project is 3 link the front end. Relocate track bar bracket, build new track bar.

Looks awesome! :punk: I can't see in the pics but did you flip the tie rod on the driver side? Look like it..

Its not possible on jason's nor would high steer links ever be an option due to the amount of uptravel.

I was able to put it dead on the factory bumps and clear everything with the axle pused forward 2.5" like the white satin build. It is on a 1" bump for tire clearance since poison spyder decided to screw us with the folded down lip and lack of tire coverage.

If it had a wider flare like tnt, it would have more room...
