New to the forum but have read and received great advice here so I decided to join and share my current project.
I bought this jeep last summer and was so excited to get another jeep I didn't look over it too well. I found some common rotted areas on frame ex: rear trail arms etc. There's a couple other spot like the driver side fender and under driver door that have small spots on it but other than that she runs good.
I was surprised and excited to find out the a/c and heater both work I've owned two other older jeeps while in high school and never had a heater
or an a/c! Here are a few pics
A couple things I've already done: ordered zone 4.25 lift kit will be here Monday. Took all seats out along with the carpet so I can remove the tub to start on the frame repair!
Well I've some what given up on this frame. As I dig it just gets worth so I've been looking and found an 02 tj with only 42k on the clock going to pick it up on Friday! I've sold the hardtop from the previous jeep but I'm going to still try to slowly get it drivable again sometime
My name is RIch Ijust got a 4" rough country lift kit for my 1999 jeep tj. I have a broken foot, but I got the front end together. There is a problem with hooking up the new transfer case drop bracket. it came out but after adding the drop bracket to the transfer case linage it won't go back to gether. it just won't line up. can someone let me know what i'm doing wrong.
