im looking into buying a Rubicon LJ in a few months and i have done a little looking around and have yet to find a thread that really helps i want to run 35's and high clearance fenders so should i run a 3.5 in lift or 5.5 lift if anyone has any personal experience with this you advice would be appreciated
All depends on how you plan on using you rig. If your gonna rock crawl an need flew room 5" lift. If your just looking to trail ride 3 is perfect with metal clock fenders.
im gonna do some crawling nothing to hard core and im probably going to go with the genright fenders and trim the hood just wasint sure if i did that on top of a 5.5 in lift if that would be over kill for the 35's or not
I am running MetalCloaks with 4" lift on 35's.
My setup has worked good for me so far.... everything from daily driving, fire roads, to the Rubicon Trail.... works flawlessly so far.
I would go 3" lift if I had to choose between 5.5 or 3 .....
My build thread link is in my signature at the bottom.
im thinking im going to go with the Genright hyline fenders and a Rock Krawler 3.5 in lift but at that height im thinking it might be better to stick with short arm rather then long arm kit
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
