My 05 White TJ Build!

Hey everyone. My name is KC, I have followed this forum for the longest time and this is definitely my favorite one. I am a relatively new member on it. This is my 3rd Jeep TJ. I love it! As I bought it from the dealership. They told me it began its life in Hawaii as a tour Jeep, then got shipped here by the next owner! I have already done many mods to it I am just going to start from the beginning haha. To keep track of my progress

It had a 2" bb lift with 33x12.5s.
42RLE Auto
4.0
2005
Stone White
No RUST! (unlike my past Jeeps)
I will update more later...

Next came the Rustoleum Bedliner.
I heard mixed reviews about it so I decided to try it out myself.
I realized I needed to have great prep work to make sure it turned out the best I could make it.

Removed Headlights and Sanded it down

Applied a couple of very light coats of primer

Applied about 3 coats of the Rustoleum Bedliner

Also, smoked out the signals with a special tinting spray that lets light through when lit, and keeps it dark when not lit
Before

After

It really turned out GREAT!

I liked how it turned out and looked so well that I went ahead and did my wheels too

I love the black and white look

I will update more later! Goodnight everyone

Next I decided I needed some more lift for the 33s! especially after taking this pictures and trying to hit up Four Peaks Trail and rubbing my flares almost every single dip/bump...

I went with a 4" Lift from Rough Country. The N20 Lift.

Got some parts laid out...

It sits much better now!

AND here is my money shot! haha I took this picture right after proposing to my beautiful wife in the secluded AZ desert It was a perfect day!!

That's a sweet looking rig, I did something similar to my grill but I used plastidip. I like how it looks, now I think I will make it permanent and do Bedliner. Great job on your rig. I'm also from Az. Hope to see you around.

Nice Jeep. I have an 05 Auto and wish mine was white.

I see your running 33 x 12.5 tires, start saving for a re-gear. 4.88 ratio is what you need. Then you'll actually be able to use the overdrive on the 42RLE transmission.

I'm only running 31 inch tires and had to run with overdrive selected off all the time. It would constantly lug the engine. I actually got better gas mileage driving it as a 3 speed then 4. I regeared mine to 4.56 but really wish I went 4.88. The little extra rpms would of been nice even with 31's.

Oh yeah and ditto on the black wheels...Much better look
