Well look around at all the hard surfaces. Hard wood, tile, vinyl, you name it. Good chance I installed it. 06 was a good year as I had quite a few larger jobs not normally on the list tossed my way.

not this time of year. I have had some free time that allows me to take all these crappy pictures of my unfinished jeep. Usually around the busy months I hire my jeepin buddies to help out on the bigger projects. I hired 2 of my friends for 4 months to work on a 5000 yard job at the airport. Helped get one all kinds of jeep parts

That's what happens when people actually wheel their junk

True story?? Best as I can tell someone tried to steal my rims and tires and got spooked off. I drove to work that morning. Left early and went to the muffler shop. I had been hearing a funny crunching sound but no ill manners on the road. I was driving 65 when that wheel decided to leave me. Went across 2 lanes of on coming traffic and into the ditch. Hit the fence popped 10 foot into the air. Then all the way back across 4 lanes of traffic missing everyone and everything. Came to a rest when a guy stopped it.

I walked over to him and he said.... "I think you lost something" I said... you think? Pushed it back over to my rig. Jacked it up and plopped it back on. Dirk showed up with his trailer and I drove it up on there. Backed it off at the shop. Only had to replace 1 lug stud and brake rotor. Everything else was fine.

I let Eli take that picture. I'm the one who posted it on the internet as a reminder to check your lug studs. I don't know how I didn't flip over at that rate of speed.

Well first of all I'm glad you and everyone else was ok (being sincere). Second, I can believe that it didn't tear anything up! That, in itself, is impressive. Third, if you leave em in the garage you won't have those kind of problems. And just so you know...I wheel mine to Starbucks every Sunday.

I want a shop. I don't need a bigger garage. I need something like a 60x100 with heated floors and air conditioning. Wireless internet and a couch with a fridge would be nice. I basically want a 200000 dollar shop and a 20k home

Yeah, yeah, yeah......I tried that..... I wanted a 3 car garage and IF there was a house attached all was good.....Ended up with a 4 bedroom 2 bath house and a California 1-1/2 car garage. Put the cars out to run the table saw, etc....

The last laught is that the YJ now sits warm and snug in the the garage due to schedules and driveway antics.
