My girls slow build

Just figured I could post this because she doesn't have an account and we're building our jeeps together.

Her jeep is a 1999 2.5l auto trans

Here's a pic of her jeep the day she bought it

It is deep amethyst with a gray interior.

It came with a hardtop and full steel doors and a bestop supertop. It was some old mans weekend driver, he put the side steps on it so he could get in.

We haven't done very many mods to it..
..yet

I convinced her to let me take the milk jugs off the front when we put the KCs on it.

And since then we've installed a shallow box Rockford Fosgate subwoofer with a Panasonic amp and a Kenwood head unit and we also replaced the dash and soundbar speakers with Polk audio I don't have a picture of that tho

Updates to come

Are you gonna lift it and make it a monster. Or is it purely a restoration job? Looks like a fun starter!

So trail gear sent us a YJ roll cage instead of the rock sliders so we had to ship it back and are now waiting on rock sliders... Again...

Also picked up an 8ft pop up camper to tow around with the jeep. It's a fixer upper but $450 was a good deal.

Cool,I was thinking of doing something like that as kind of a deterrent for thief's and store stuff under it.

Got the rocksliders back from powder coat and for the body panel today. I also had a painter at my work mix up some of the deep amethyst paint for where we replace the body panel

Nice Jeep! Mind saying what you roughly paid and how many miles? Daughter is looking for a similar rig.

$7000 was the negotiated price the guy was asking $9500 for it. It had 73K on it when it was purchased

So in the past few weeks we put on

2in OME springs with a 1in budget boost and bilstein 5100 series shocks

JKS swaybar links

New 32/11.50/15 BFG all terrains

Extended the rear diff breather tube because it wasn't long enough after the lift.

A JCR offroad rear bumper with the adventure carrier

Trail gear rocksliders also (only broke 4 body mounts thanks to PB Blaster only penetrating halfway up)

And last but not least installed new windshield sprayers the little things matter
