Heres the link to my paracord handles, They were easy to make and fairly cheap. I had some leftover cord so I decided to cover all my handles also.

I dont take many wheeling pics seeing as how I normally go alone. But heres a few so you dont think this is a street queen lol.

I dont do anything crazy like mud and there is nowhere around here to do any serious rock crawling. its mostly just trails and service roads with the kids and alot of camping.

Wow, thanks for sharing with the forums everything you have done to your Jeep - looks awesome. A lot of hear, sweat, and tears looks like went into making it yours. From looking at the pics though, it looks like you are getting to the point where you are running out of things to do! But with these Jeeps the work is never done.

Have had people ask me about the LEd tail lights and heres what I did to fix the pesky Fast-Flash thing.

Locate the Flasher relay, Open the relay, use an exacto knife to cut the burned out light bulb feature and be done with it. Takes about 5 minutes.

Just make sure you cut all the way through the ribbon to ensure that it doesnt still have a small connection.

Love that hot rod look with the rear mud eaters and the front street tires. As for the note about Krylon Fusion not to be used on the grab handles. Everyone seems to have a problem with it and maybe I just got lucky but... I have a yellow jeep also and riced out the interior with yellow and blue Krylon Fusion. Hit the grab handle with the blue and didn't touch it for a week. Have had it on there for over 3 years now not a scratch on it. And it's been abused for sure.

Maybe just certain colors? Black has been the reoccuring culprit in all the posts I have read. I did get some on my steering wheel and had to put a cover on it cause it got really sticky. Havent checked to see if it is still sticky but I assume that it has to dry out sometime lol.

Well since you are on the east coast grab a bottle of Ardex interior cleaner. Great stuff. A little elbow grease and it'll clean anything. With a scrub pad you can take the color right out of leather. Accidentally did that to a Astin Martin.

LilYeller,
Have you noticed any heavy wear on the seat covers? I am considering getting the same set. I also have two kids and a dog and was wondering how the covers are holding up.

Thanks!

The seat covers are great. I highly recommend them and I dont have any complaints as of yet. They literally look like I just installed them and they have been on for 6 months. Grab a set you wont be sorry. One thing I wish I had done is Scotchguard them tho, the dirt gets into all the little cracks, it comes out with magic eraser but with the scotchguard it would come up alot easier.

Here is the best tool ever for touching up paint. I used it when I did auto prep for used car dealerships. Just a hypodermic needle with the pointy end broken off and bent a bit. You have to thin the paint then put it in the syringe and drop it in where needed. Its perfect.

Heres my $9 Quick discos:
(2) 7/16x3 clevis pins, 2 hitch pins, and 4 washers. got all the stuff from lowes If I were to do anything more to this setup I would weld the washer on the end but its not necessary.

I have had this setup for about 6 months and no rust or excessive wear and tear on the pins or washers, this is my DD and I do alot of around town driving.

So excited! Just put a deposit on my 8.8 rear. Modifications Unlimited in West Palm, FL will be doing the gearing (4.56), seals, bearings, and hope they can find a tracloc 8.8 so I dont have to buy a locker. Im also having them regear the front and put a yukon locker up there, as well as new bearings and seals. Whole project is costing about $3k but its a small price to pay to have confidence on the trail and a properly running vehicle that I can actually take on the highway. The 3.07's on 35's werent cutting it lol.

So a few days ago my son says "your Jeep looks like a transformer, you should get a sticker for it." I asked if it was a good guy or a bad guy and he says "it looks mean I guess its a bad guy" So I went ahead and ordered some decepticon aluminum badges for it and he helped me place them. I think they came out good.

Now its time to name it, cause a transformer cant be named Rubiclone or Sport lol. I will have to see what my son comes up with.

On a side note:
Its still not in the shop yet but the guy is waiting for the right axle, he is looking for a 31 spline 8.8 with posi in it. They are out there and he has a few junkyards looking for one. Hope he can find it cause that will be a great axle.

Using your forum name and a transformer name generator, it came up with 'Cyclonus'.

Could be fitting if you raise up so much dust on the trail it creates a Cyclone.

Very cool Jeep! Just bought mine a month ago, black, and am putting on the same size tires on a 5.5" RE Long Arm lift. But trying to decide what size rims. 15x10 or 15x8. Just wondering what size you have on there, looks pretty good for that size tire.

These are 15x8. I think a 15x10 is too big of a rim for 35x12.5x15 I like to air down alot when I get into sugar sand and a 15x10 will likely pop a bead. I cant say for sure but I'd rather be safe than sorry I guess.
