Picked up a Rubicon Express adjustable track bar last week, had some issues installing it since I dont have a pickle fork. That wasnt the main issue tho, the worst part was finding a 5/8 drill bit to even out the mounting hole. Dern near $18 just for the bit... Anyways its all painted and installed:

Will be time for my steering upgrade soon enough, might just paint the tie rod and drag link cause they look like doo-doo atm.

Also my HF winch took a crap, big surprise there huh? lol Luckily I had warranty and they swapped it out in the store for me. I took them the main winch and cable, they gave me the entire box of shiz. Second solenoid box, second controller, second hook. Nice of them to ensure I had all the parts I needed in case of a failure. Apparently these winches arent supposed to be out in the rain all the time, now I need a cover for it. Will probably make my own since I put the solenoid box under my hood and most of the covers I have seen are made for it to be on top of the winch.

While I was at it I did find a way to add some more color up there:

Thinking about adding some yellow on the winch, maybe the roller fairlead plate and a few parts on the winch itself. Might add some Plastidip on the winch housing just to keep some of the water out too, not sure about that part yet since the winch might need those cracks to cool off. Gonna have to do some research on that.

Saw a quote and I have no idea who said it but "Dont hate the guy with a clean Jeep, hate the guy who never gets it dirty." I have always enjoyed good looking functional vehicles. And no matter what kind of vehicle it is, I cant stand seeing faded paint, cracked bumpers, or even just dirt on them. Partially cause of me being a detailer for a living I guess lol. I cant show up to a customers house to detail their multi million dollar yacht with a mud caked, dirty, ugly Jeep.

Just checked out your build and it looks great... Thank you by the way, below is the funniest thing I have seen on this site yet!

Just realized I havent posted any pics of the new addition. Its a Rampage zipper tonneau cover. I didnt like it shortly after I purchased it. I was very upset about their marketing. Basically they said you can just unzip the middle of the cover, fold up the seat, and be on your way. Well theres the issue of having seatbelts. You can read all about it here http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/ramp...er-191880.html It has all the good, bad, and ugly about the cover. heres what it looks like tho:

Above: See the modifications I had to make to the seat belts in order to use them without taking off the whole cover to get to them.

In fact I do. Part of my personality I guess. Yellow has always been my fav color for vehicles (since I was told if I ever bring home an orange one I would be sleeping in it). I havent ever gone out so far on a limb with the interior as I did on this one, but to me the interior is nearly as much a part of the exterior since the doors are never on it. Cant roll around with a gray dash when the whole Jeep is done in black and yellow.

I wanted 2 tone interior but didnt want to rice it out with too much. Some might say I did too much yellow but I think that Wrangler engineers must have had something similar in mind when they built the interior cause all the lines matched up perfectly.

Then added the seat covers from IGGEE customs. Simulated leather, Waterproof, Great fit and finish, and easy to clean. No complaints as of yet and dont expect any, havent faded or loosened up at all since the day I got them. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend these to anyone looking at seat covers, DONT GET NEOPRENE!!! they fade fast and actually retain water.

And yes I painted my sons car seat to match as per his request. He loves it now and wont let me use his other smaller seat in there ever again.

What is your steering wheel wrapped with? I want to do the same to mine.

Just a really cheap wheel cover that I got from a local auto parts store. It comes in a box like this:

This is the only link I could come up with.

Took it out wheeling for the first time after the regear & axle. What a huge difference.

Good times, tho cleanup sucks. even though its not really mud, more like very wet sugar sand. Makes for an interesting run.

Holy crap! This is an insane build! I'm so jealous of it lol. I have a yellow jeep to and want to do a whole lot of the stuff in this thread, particularly the interior. That just may be my next project on mine, along with those seat covers to follow.

The interior makes a world of difference. I did it cause the inside is showing just as much as the outside since the top is in safari mode and the doors are usually off. I just felt like the interior should be the same color as the exterior. Its black and yellow, not black and yellow and gray...

Just got done putting in some christmas presents.

Spare tire carrier storage bag:

Winch cover: Its not made for this winch but it will keep the water off at least

Blacked out my rims (plasti-dip for now till I decide if I like it or not)

Installed some cross drilled sloted rotors and centric pads on the 8.8:

Lol yea black, yellow, and gray just don't go together. Luckily my interior is already black. The yellow just makes everything POP. Is it pretty easy to paint?

I'm not typically a huge black wheel fan. With your mostly yellow/black theme thought I think it looks good. Meh....plastidip so easy enough to undo if you don't like it (so I hear anyway) .

Yea I figure I can run it with the black wheels for a while and see whats best. Id really like to get some yellow trim around those wheels to break up all the black tho. The wife hates the black so the plasti-dip will give her a chance to warm up to it, or gives me a chance at getting out of the dog house...

As for the interior paint, I did it all in one day. Id say its pretty easy but i did this kind of thing for a living so I might have a bit more experience than the average Joe. Either way its really not that hard, prep is the key. I linked the thread that has a walkthrough but heres another. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/tire...tired+interior Dragonii did a great job on it.

Not usually a fan of yellow, but your jeep looks great. Read the whole thread last night and really impressed with what you've done. Especially like the taillight setup. Looking forward to seeing your next steps.

I was looking at Krylon paint today. Did you use the sunbeam color? I'm hoping so since that's the only yellow they currently offer.
