LilYeller,

My hat is off to you, Sir. What a great job at chronicling all the sweat and effort you have put into YOUR Jeep. As $$$ becomes available, I am looking forward to adapt some of your ideas, but,do not fret my friend mine is white. Thank you for sharing and have fun in the mud/rocks or wherever Your jeep may roll.

Looks nice! Might have to steal a few ideas for mine. Thought about the spray paint when I was in Wal Mart but was un sure on how it looked. Now I am convinced. Just have to wait till it gets warm.

Heres some pics of the last 2 wheeling trips

The crew I run with:

Flares work to keep it relatively clean even tho I go everywhere they go at least I can wheel with my doors off if I wanted to)

Guess who else had a good time in the mud...

After a trip to JW Corbett:

That went on 4/23/2011:

Theres my buddy Sean Rieder putting the lift on while I polish his boat. Isnt bartering a great thing? We had alot of trouble with the drop pittman arm, and now that I found the forums and started reading them most people say dont even change it out... oh well lesson learned I guess.

the only reason you would HAVE to replace the pitman arm is if you were to drop the front track bar (aka if your kit had a new track bar bracket).

Scored a Garvin Wilderness rack on Craigs list this week. Traded the guy some of my factory takeoff stuff and a bit of cash and now I have a $900 rack for nearly nothing. Putting it on this weekend along with my BL and MML.

That hood louver panel lets out alot of heat. Its great for keeping the temps down under the hood here in Florida where its ALWAYS too hot for slow trail driving.

I gotta do something. This last summer my hood would get so hot u couldn't open it w/o gloves on. Although, I think I am gonna go with the genright from 4whl parts the 2 small in back for sure and maybe the front one too. If u buy them as a pkg u get $20.00 off. Also I am like u about having tooooo much black on the front.
http://www.4wheelparts.com/Exterior-...=G%2fRLVR-1007

I really like the look and contrast of the painted d-rings. Might even paint my high lift toooo if i can't find a yeller one.

Went wheeling last weekend and this happened:

Got water all up in my Transmission, it was full to the top. Stupid me I drove it for a while afterwards and had to have JKNoor tow me home 40 miles using a tow strap... Yea that sucked. It resulted in a rebuilt transmission. But they did some upgrades while they were in there. They put in a better shift kit and clutches. and then installed a breather on top of the trans so this doesnt happen again. Also had them install my Teraflex Extreme short SYE and Tattons drive shaft since they had it all apart anyways. Now I need some adjustable control arms to fine tune my angles.

Big Thanks to Duro Tran Transmission and exhaust in Delray Beach for a super fast turn around and extremely professional work.

short writeup time. Wanted to extend my intake so I wouldnt have issues with under hood heat and possible splashes getting in there. heres what I did:

Took out the factory air box and removed the nozzle from it. replaced it with a hose from a wet/dry shop vac. I fiberglassed the connector into the factory airbox:

I like using old shirt material instead of fiberglass material. Just a personal preference cause I dont like getting fiberglass in my skin and I hate working with gloves.

Cut a hole into my cowl area:

And ran the hose from the airbox to the cowl area. Now it gets fresh clean air and no water, ever.

I might consider upgrading the pipes to PVC and doing something sticking out of the cowl but that will have to be later. This works great for now and didnt have any issues on the way out to Corbett. Everything breathes just fine and the hose didnt collapse after it got all heated up like it suspected it might.

got to get some parts installed first. just got my adjustable control arms and need those installed to get the pinion angles right first. might take a few weeks cause the box was missing 2 joints.
