My LJ Build

Hey guys so looking for some old photos of it stock could only find one but heres some of the photos of my build so far
PLEASE PM me if you Have any questions on what I have put in so far or how difficult any of it was

When I moved to mammoth I knew i need some room to get through them snow burms so I threw in a 2.5in Rough Country lift worst choice BTW

[IMG][/IMG]

Kit wore out after some time
I then did a Bday present to myself got a Poison Spyder Trail stinger

after a year my kit wore out so I went with A Rubicon Express Super Flex Kit and a Tummy tuck. Now it rides like a champ and have yet to bottom out on the skid with 22in of clearance in the center

Big diff in hight with the Rubicon express coils probly sitting 5.5in higher than stock with 4.5in springs

Few months later picked up a custom rear bumper from some kid down town that did it on his spare time from the shop

And of course SOME big ole 35s would be nice too
35x1250x15 KM2s with 15x8 MB72 with 3.5BS

Hers one from my 33x1050s to the 35x1250s

I got a Winch and thought front was sitting a lil low so threw in a 1in spacer up front to level it out one day, It did wonders to the look of it

Stock LJ to my LJ
I also found a basket for sale one day on CL for 25bucks took that thing cut it up a lil and mounted it to the rear sway bumper def works for some serious weight,
Next is to get a couple gas can brackets welded on

A lil color to the front Dif
currently saving up for a complete Poison Spyder Wrap

Yeah Its a 2.5 with 33x1050s I liked it alot but the dang coils sagged so much and rode so soft. Just driving the SD road was miserable

Heres a few more picks I wanted to add of the build

Did It my self Just had Off Road Wearhouse do the short arm alignment and put the SYE in, I didnt trust myself with something that technical. [/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

and some Panaramas
Anza Borrego At top of Diablos Drop off

and my new Home Boulder CO

Nice LJ, that's pretty much what I want to do to mine. Do the tires ever rub on the flares?

Loving the look o The lj. I've got a white one as well. So you didn't like the rc lift huh? Rough ride or just poor quality or both? I ask because I'm in the market for a 2" lift. And I'm definitely gonna do some flat fenders.

I have an LJ too. I like what you have done. What is the back spacing of your new rims? I like that they dont stick out to much.

I might have missed it but do you have a BL on it too. I thought you had to to do the tuck. If so how much? The tuck is next for me.

Is the 4.5" kit a long arm kit? I dont know if I want to go that extreem. The 35s look good on a LJ though. Do you think you will have issues with the D35 front axle?

yeah stay away from the RC i hate it they didnt even warranty it after 9 months

Budget boost and 1.25in body ull be set. for 33s or 35s with flattie like those from Poison spyder

Thanks tho Its a fun car to build up for sure

So i went with a 4.5 short arm lift with Adj uppers and lowers all way around. lot of people have said the short arm is the best one for flex with the TJs. I deffinatly looking into longer shocks tho for more travel.

There is not body lift with my AEV tummy tuck, Theres another company out there that has the same one for 200 less than AEV which i wish i went for. I would go with the 3.5 get a 1.25body lift and a tummy tuck thats a great combo and if you get flat fenders like those of Poison Spyder you will have plenty of clearance probly up to 37s.

I had just put in a 1in puck in front to level it out

BTW RE there kit says 3.5 sits more at 4.5in and same with the 4.5in lift sits at 5.5in havent had any sag yet even with my hard top on full tank and 2 full grown dudes in back

Sorry also the BS is 3.5in They are MB72s check them out on Discount tire site they got them on there for 80/90 a rim and alloys

Its a dana 30 only a dana 35 is in the rear, so far no problems and send it really hard on the trails with out lockers and stock shafts, looking for a HP 30 still thatll be best bet over a full 44 after market front axel to beef it up... deffinatly recommend a HD steering kit tho

All Ljs should have a dana 44 rear and 30 front to my knowledge you should be good on 35s as long as you change the shafts and do a 4 inch lift.
Here's a pic of my Lj on 33's
