My "Trail Jeep" project

Lost the phone with the first half of the build. Picture a standard ass TJ with chrome tube bumpers and a wilderness rack.

Looks cold. haha. But I dig the colors and the rear end rebuild man. Looks rugged. And I really, really like my wilderness rack. You going to put it back on ?

It lives on my 15 forested acres so it doesn't need to carry an excursions worth of gear, just a chainsaw, weed eater and my disc golf bag.

Thank you. it has been a blast to work on, daily drove her for 7 years to get to where i could have my way with her. Have quite a few other projects I want to do but need to take them In phases... My wife called the jeep my mistress in a less than joking manner the other day.

Haha ! She's so confused. The Jeep is your wife. Your supposed wife is your mistress.

What's in her future ? (The Jeep, not your mistress)

Ha that's good, but the jeep didn't just have my baby! I have a connection with a stainless tank manufacturer, I really want to relocate my fuel to a 4-6 in deep custom that fits against the bed to cab separator so I can free up under the ass end for a skid plate rear bumper

Thank you. It was a fun project I could do to my jeep without spending a ton on it. My mortgage and new baby make it tough to do the high dollar projects. I had most of the steel as left overs from other projects. I think I spent $75 on an abrasive wheel, silicone calking and flat black primer. Someday it will return to street legal but it'll be a few years.

I miss my jeep as a daily but I moved out of town and can't justify putting 60 plus mi/day on the ol TJ It doles out better on my duramax otherwise I will finish my build about the same time I broke the 350k marker.
